Holy Mountain finally restocked their Cure designs, so was able to cop all three. I've got a few things from them and it's super high quality, no Society6 type bullshit.

This is great news if it materialises. Having a professional release of Burn live would be awesome. And the live arrangement of arab. Also that performance of "if only..." was ace. It was an amazing gig all round
I've never really explored the live cuts on the second discs.
the list of cure members that are being inducted into the hall of fame has been released:
Perry Bamonte
Jason Cooper
Michael Dempsey
Reeves Gabrels
Simon Gallup
Roger O'Donnell
Robert Smith
Porl Thompson
Lol Tolhurst
Boris Williams
I for one am very happy that Reeves Gabrels has been recognized. He's been 1 of my favorite guitar players since Tin Machine came out. I saw him several time with Bowie & twice with the Cure. Including 1 of my favorite shows ever, Bowie with NIN opening. That was a stunner. On top of that Reeves & his wife are very nice people. Have a had a little interaction with them. When a friend was in pretty big trouble, they were very supportive & helped with the healing process. Congrats to Reeves & the rest of the Cure!

Disintegration 30th Anniversary
May 24 - Sydney, AUS - Sydney Opera House - Vivid LIVE
May 25 - Sydney, AUS - Sydney Opera House - Vivid LIVE
May 27 - Sydney, AUS - Sydney Opera House - Vivid LIVE
May 28 - Sydney, AUS - Sydney Opera House - Vivid LIVE
8 years after premiering the Reflections shows at the same event, The Cure are returning to Sydney to "world premiere" the 30th anniversary Disintegration concerts. Supposedly they'll be doing the full album as well as the b-sides from the era. They did go on to play Reflections in London, LA, and NYC so hopefully this means the same thing for later this year?
some horrible news from the cure camp. i hope Andy is in england getting the best of care & they are making his passage as painless as possible. his time in the band was brief but mighty. "shake dog shake" has amazing drums.

Very sad about Andy.
I submitted to the Disintegration ballot for 2x tickets. Was at both Reflections shows in 2011 and they were amazing!
Andy Anderson passed away today. RIP https://www.post-punk.com/former-dru...sYZmF0SjyDJ6Uw
sad news about Andy. I believe this would make him the first member of the Cure to pass away. RIP.
RIP Andy.

Question: should I hold off on buying a copy of 4:13 on vinyl? Or is a 4:13 - 4:14 - 4:26 "reissue" release probably never happening?
Welp, entered the ballot but didn’t hear anything back on the day when they were sent out.
I lose. Good day sir. (https://giphy.com/gifs/reactiongifs-joNVQCtuecqHK)

Sounds like Trent is doing the HOF induction for the Cure
I am assuming RS asked Trent personally to do the induction. Pretty cool
Between the above infamous 'Fuck Robert Palmer, fuck rock n roll' video above and them defiantly playing until their instruments were all turned off at Coachella 10 years ago, I'm really interested in how they'll present themselves at the induction ceremony in a couple weeks lol
My guess is they will be on their best behavior and do a medley of Forest/Boys Don't Cry/In Between Days and Just Like Heaven
Imagine if Robert did a total backflip and played Halo, Adonais, This Morning and Play instead of the usual suspects of songs.
I would love it if he did a bunch of Pornography songs and turned that place on its ear
Bring it on
Wow, the Wish re-release might actually come out this year PLUS a new studio album??
Gonna be a fucking great year for us Cure fans!
Jeeze, first new Cure, Rammstein and Tool in a decade all in the same year.
Induction is tomorrow!

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
March 29th, 2019
Barclays Center
Brooklyn, NY
Doors at 5:30 PM / Show at 7 PM
Red carpet arrivals and interviews will be streamed live on the Rock Hall's Website, Facebook and YouTube channel. It starts at 5:30 PM eastern.
The Hall will post live updates, photos, and videos on this page.
Putting this up early as I might not have time tonight or in the morning. I'll be at the event and hope to provide as much info as I can, signal willing. But the blog won't be updated until I get home, so please follow along on Twitter or via the widget posted below.
Here's the info we know at the time of this posting:
Who's inducting them? Trent Reznor.
Are The Cure attending? Yes! While the band haven't confirmed it, the Hall has. We just don't know how many of the 10 will go.
Which Cures are confirmed to be attending? Lol, Roger, and Simon. It is assumed, though not confirmed, that all of the current Cures will be there. And there will likely be other ex Cures, too
Are The Cure playing? We assume so, and I've been led to believe they will, but again, no confirmation from the band or the Hall.
How long are they playing? Bands are usually given a 3-4 song set, so expect that.
What will they play? This is an easy one...Cold, Charlotte Sometimes, Last Dance, and Faith. You know what they say, if you're going to dream, dream dark.
Where can I watch? Live at Barclays Center, or the live simulcast at the Rock Hall in Cleveland, or the edited highlights on HBO April 27th. There's no official live stream, though there might be fan scopes and streams.
They soundchecked five songs last night apparently! Shake, Boys, Forest, JLH, Lovesong. Very solid choices, but I still think the Kiss or Give Me It would blow the roof off haha
wish there was a way to stream it tonight
Sites like CoS and Pitchfork have tons of clips, as does YouTube of course.
Also, Robert gave some more info about the new album, tour, etc.
