Seriously you two, fuck off. I'm making my serious face.
This thread is temporarily under lock on account of Krogan Warlord and Jinsai not being able to shut the fuck up. I'm tired of handing out infractions for individual posts. If you think it's a nuisance that this thread is locked down, you're welcome to send them both PMs (because they're both equally responsible) telling them they're being assholes. The key there is to do it in a private message. In private. Where it doesn't clutter the board up for anyone else. Not like what happened in this thread - where a couple of people who know better continued to play with each other's scat while other people were trying to have a conversation about music.
Thank you! Maybe now we can finally talk about manson. In other news. I burned the album for my father who apparently likes it more than I do.

Anyone going to the show in NY on Sunday?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Interesting, how old is he/are you?
Anyway, now given some heavy rotation to ACSS as recommended, and yes, what a cracking album. Faves so far are Deformography, Angel with Scabbed Wings and The Reflecting God. Not a 'bad' song on there! Now I can see why everyone was so jealous last night!
Not bad
at least he sounds somewhat to the cd.
Yeah but theyve dropped little horn and coma white from the set... Cheers
does anyone actually like mobscene? Ffs.
That sucks, little horn sounded awesome with the double bass. Coma white was soundchecked.
"mObscene" isn't Manson's best but despite the Faith No More ripoff i like it, one of the 4 tracks that i like in the disastrous Golden Age of Grotesque
I liked vodevil, although i liked it less once i realised it rips off hey man nice shot fairly blatantly. Mm cribbing filter cribbing NIN

Finally got around to torturing myself with Born Villain. Yeah, it's just as bad and forgetful as I was expecting. Hang it up, you've been done for years.
Skip past Personal Jesus and check out Pistol Whipped. Not bad, relatively.

Haha the best part of that video is the guy singing IDLTD(BTDLM) after Personal Jesus. Was there really much point in Manson putting the guitar on for 20 seconds? He shoulda just played the whole song if he can now play guitar as he says he can.

Yeah listening to the record I have a hard time believing Twiggy didn't come up with most of the guitar parts. Maybe a song like No Reflection but I'm not sure.
I really doubt Manson has gotten very good at guitar.
You know, that makes a lot of sense since I think he did the guitar for WOW and that must be his style when he writes a song he does the verses in more of a spoken word sort of a way. I really love The Gardener by the way, but The Flowers of Evil has really stood out to me today. I think that track is really awesome, catchy, gives me a sort of classic punk vibe. I like it a lot.
Edit: Oh, didn't see those credits. Interesting, so he maybe did do guitar on No Reflection. Only reason I thought he may have is because of the Lugosi's Dead similarity and Manson obsesses over that song.

Didn't know Manson basically wrote Pistol Whipped completely himself. It's definitely my least favorite on the record.
Edit: I am changing my review/rating of the album from 71% to 93%.

He has rudimentary competence on guitar... Wouldnt be surprised if he plays on record but not so much live, it is a lot harder IMO
he plays the guitar parts on apple of sodom. Did TR produce that?
The live guitar he did was pretty pointless, but at least he seems to have a bit more clarity in these videos, he seems to remember the words better and actually look to be enjoying himself on stage for at least some parts. Good news.
This should have been the cover.
