The game was fun to watch. Close, even right to the last play.
I have to ask though, when do Kelce and Swift's mind control powers start working? I was told it would be after the superbowl and that it would make MAGA shut-up.

I'm a lifelong 49ers fan. Tough to watch them lose, but, it was a good game. Crazy the 49ers were in it even after all of those miscues; you just can't give a guy like Mahomes that many chances because he'll find a way to win.

Mass shooting at the Chiefs rally today right as they wrapped up the Rally Ceremony. So far 1 dead, 9 injured (including 3 kids apparently). I live 3 blocks away from the Parade/Rally and the amount of sirens were like 9/11 levels. Shit is insane over here right now. My neighborhood is practically under lockdown.

Updated to 22 victims, 9 of which are children (multiple in critical condition) spread across three local hospitals. THREE fucking shooters have been detained, and one was physically apprehended by Chiefs fans at the parade. Several firearms recovered (one might be an AR15). A few local news anchors and our Mayer were all present for the shooting and apparently had to run for their lives. A few other local anchors hid in stairwells and backrooms at Union Station with several of the Chiefs' and their families. My neighborhood got the all clear about an hour ago but there's still tons of sirens and helicopters in the area. It's all just super weird. This was KC's 4th huge Championship Parade/Rally in the last few years and this is first one where anything like this has happened.

But, hey. I'm allowed to have dual loyalty: my brother and sis in law, and their (now FOUR) kids, live in Denver, and i have a Nuggets hat, and a Rockies hat AND jersey, and we go up there as much as we can.

Minnesota is currently in the grips of an epidemic of Basketball Fever. This is the first time since 2004 that the Wolves have made it to the Western Conference Finals. Although I am trying to stay optimistic about the Wolves' chances against the Mavs, I am a Minnesota sports fan so I am fully prepared for heartbreak.

dude you should have seen dallas, like, IRL, taking the bus and train, when we won (edit: and even WENT TO) the Finals, back in the day (2011).
Everyone was just NUTS, and it was EVERYWHERE.

I'm pretty bummed about the way the Mavs-Wolves series has gone so far. As a lifelong Minnesota sports fan, I was expecting disappointment but now I'm just hoping we don't get swept. While there is little hope for advancing to the Finals, there's always a chance we become the first team to ever come back from a 3-0 deficit.
Also: Luka and Kyrie have another gear when the game is on the line. I wish the Wolves had a closer like that on the team.

It still gets me fired up.
edit: fuck...we ALSO became the first or second team to blow a 2-0 finals lead that year, and i'm EXTREMELY superstitious.
BUT, Pikassoh eats, sleeps and breathes Dallas, so, it's prolly still cool.
