finally got a chance to watch this. It really is good in a way I didn't expect. Like, how did Disney manage all of the cameos? like the scene where all of the Seth Rogen-voiced characters were on screen at one time?

my only note is that Lonely Island should have been the end credits instead of Post Malone.

I just went way overboard with the Criterion sale. Oops. At least I'll have plenty of classic Japanese samurai movies to watch soon!

Just watched the first episode of this. Very weird show, but quite fascinating.

Started Deadwood under threats from my brpther to never talk to me again if I kept ignoring his pleas. It's really good.

Finally watched Promising Young Woman too.

I know I'm late, but I'm up to I believe episode 8 of the first season of For All Mankind. Really loving it.

Also, highly enjoying Physical. Binged all the episodes (so far) last weekend.

Sillier than Jewel of the Nile or Romancing the Stone but if enjoyed those two, you'll probably like this just fine.

Oh yeah, I suppose I should say that we liked it over here. Some genuinely funny moments... the only thing the movie was missing for us was some nice movie popcorn.

I really enjoyed Prey. Saw that HULU offered a Comanche dubbed version; will watch that version too.

watched in in the theaters and it was such good fun. loved the Brad Pitt cameo and how everyone was playing against and with type at the same time. like Daniel was the bad guy, right, but also a complete nerd but also a complete psychopath. very near.

I'm watching this movie called "The Castle", it's an Australian production about a family that lives next to an airport and they're given notice to leave as the government wants to take over the property for more runways.

You ever seen this one @Erneuert ? I would have to guess that it's one of those famous Aussie films that everyone's seen at some point.

Whole thing was uploaded by someone to Youtube, I'm mainly checking it out because it's an earlier gig for one of the actors that I know from one of my favorite shows.

Yeah, that’s an Aussie classic down here.

    ”Tell him he’s dreamin’!”

”That’s goin’ straight to the pool room!”

    ”It’s just the… vibe.”

Are all household quotes down here.

Absolutely lived NOPE and would have wished for it go on a little longer. Pretty sure this movie will divide audiences, but personally I loved it. Coolest UFO movie since Signs, but it is much more than that.

And yes, loved PREY too! Of course it didn't anything to the lore, but after the last one, this was a huge improvement.

Vengeance by BJ Novak was amazing. I was very pleasantly surprised. He really is a talented writer. The movie made me feel the full range of emotions.

randomly, I'm watching Beetlejuice, and I'm finding that I need to pause it repeatedly and take a break.

I first saw this movie when I was a kid, and I thought it was a blast. I guess, now, it's completely different. So many things went over my head as a child. This is a movie that is ostensibly a comedy, but it starts off with a couple joking about how they might want to reproduce, right before they die. It's actually an incredibly profound movie in a lot of ways, all the jokes are dark half-jokes. It's also gory and grotesque, terrifying in parts... and when you need to haunt your own house, because the new inhabitants are miserable joyless assholes...

    I don't know. I'm newly impressed

Do you like Tekken, specifically Tekken 3?

Do you like old fashioned cheesy anime?

Do NOT miss this Tekken series on Netflix.

Yes, it's goofy. Jin appears to be about 3 feet tall, vs old man Mishima's 8 feet, but after a two minute training montage, Jin is like 7 feet tall.

But i mean, it's a Tekken anime. They use actual tekken 3 moves, performed by Tekken 3 characters, and JESUS I'm loving it.

Watched the final episode of Primal season 02 and damn! I don't know what to say...

Spoiler: After some really amazing episodes in season 01 part 2, the whole of season 02 somewhat fell flat for me and the ending felt incredibly rushed. Something that I don't understand, as they had enough time with that Darwin-episode and three episodes solely on that big ship. But I guess this is the final season now. Sadly, but they left with a bang. A rushed one, but definitely a bang.
