Agree! I'm pretty over this franchise, and this series has felt like more of the same to me than the epic Rick/Michonne saga that's been teased for years... but that episode was pretty great. It just made me go, oh, so Danai should just be writing all of these episodes.

So after that (surprisingly) happy ending, where do things really go from here if they do a season 2? It will just be like TWD all over again. Maggie, Negan, Daryl and Carol wrap their stories and… come back to see Rick returned? Or maybe that’s what Carol said to him over the radio static? When Carol and Daryl meet she will inform him of his return? And then there’s Morgan and Mo to consider.

Yeah, I sort of expected that. Oh, and thanks, mate: I'm getting there.

But so, ok: I expected it, because the first 3 are rushed, too.
But, never underestimate the ability of tv writers to come up with SOME shit that works, even if it's logically impossible.
I think they wanted to put a quick bow on it in case it flopped, AND/OR, they can't get Andy and Danai back.

If this is, and was always intended to be, IT, then why the second seasons for the other two?

Dude ima be pissed if all we get is a Rick cameo at the end of Daryl Dixon.

Like, PLEASE: bring together Richonne, Carol, Daryl, Negan, Maggie, Morgan, Aaron, Gabriel, Alecia...something like that...on some avengers assemble shit, and have them take on what was SECRETLY the TRUE big bad, for like, 3 seasons.
Or, like, do an AMC original MOVIE trilogy about that, at LEAST.
They've been teasing something like that FOREVER. I mean, remember the fucking 3 Rings/3 Shows ads?
Dude. They even tricked me into watching the one about the KIDS, with Jadis. Or, how about season 5 of Fear? That's the single worst season of tv I've ever seen, but I by god watched it, for fear of missing something.
Cats like you and me...the diehards, who have been here through thick and thin...man, AMC and Gimple OWE us one.

Also, Major General Beagle: if you wanted to purchase a reasonably decent Beagle, you could just get a General Beagle.

But, if you wanted a GOOD Beagle, you'd opt for a MAJOR General Beagle.

I sure have had fun pretending like, (to my wife), I think that the above is TRUE, and it's where the character got his name, alongside acting like I think that Beagle just means "dog," and that our German Shepherd rescue dog is likely a MAJOR General Beagle.
Dude, it's so funny, watching her exasperation, because if keep a straight face, and she STILL can't tell when I'm joking about such stupidity, even 12 years in.
