I wish Graves would have stayed with them... "Project 1950" and "Devil's Rain" are not bad albums but it's obvious Jerry cannot carry the band by himself...

Most disagree but I like the albums and time with Graves as much as I did/do the Danzig material.

Unwound - Kid is Gone box set

this is something that only fans will appreciate. it's a horrible introduction to the band. It's awesome if you love the band and want to hear what they sounded like at the beginning.
if you're not a fan, listen to their last album, Leaves Turn Inside You, because it's awesome

Then, consider buying the Kid is Gone vinyl box set

One of the wisest purchases of the year for me. The first LP ("Caterpillar") is worth the asking price alone. Beautifully packaged too.

Man, this is one amazing album. It's like a throwback to early 90s alternative-dance with some Madchester in the mix.

Doubt it? NIN and Michale Graves don't mesh well genre wise. Where did you get that idea from?

Big Big Train - English Electric: Full Power. Probably one of the best progressive rock albums of the modern era, and quickly becoming a major personal favorite.

Taking myself back to 2005 when I used to listen to a lot of Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx. That kind of thing tonight.

2005 was an awesome year. From what I remember of it.....

All day, all night. Background awesomeness while working...

Fuck, at like 17:05 of 'sunbather', it's still the greatest thing I've heard in years.

I really want the blu-ray of this. It will be my first release of getting something by them. But i've listened to a ton of their stuff on youtube. Which concert film do you like better: Arriving Somewhere or Anesthetize?

For me, this is Lou's crowning achievement after his work with the Velvets.

I like "Anesthetize" better, the production values and direction are boss, plus i'm a huge fan of Fear of a Blank Planet...

I also recommend "Get all you deserve" songs from Steven Wilson's solo career...
