    I'm not complaining.

I told my son I'm going to make him listen to an album a week so that we can have something to talk about other than "well, stuck at home for another week eh?" so I'm torn between Who's Next - absolute favorite Who album probably, top five all albums - and Quadrophenia.

This video has clean English subtitles for those who want to understand. All of his songs have a meaning and sometimes that meaning gets mangled by a play on words.

Markus Reuter's new album Truce 2, some excellent instrumental progressive power-trio rock https://markus-reuter-moonjune.bandc.../album/truce-2

Kind of a Flobots vibe with the live band.

Also not related to the Cybertronic Spree, regardless of name.

New Underoath in my headphones and extremely disappointed again. Much better than Erase Me (Not saying much) Every song sounds the same, or songs they have made before. This band has officially lost its magic to me.

Lemonheads- It's a Shame About Ray and Come On Feel the Lemonheads.

    Reminds me of middle school.

I didn't know about Bon Iver until Kanye West and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and I was never able to get into the other albums that had been released up to that point. Like, I get how they're well-made and all but just not what I'm looking for when I want to listen to something. This album, however, knocked my socks off.

The best arrow I can give is the breakdown in "The Great Destroyer" sending me on a search for more music like that. The closest I ever came was dubstep but that got old fast and wasn't quite right. This album with the songs breaking mid-stream and the corruption therein is the closest approximation that I've found.

I've no idea, maybe it was just right place right time for the album and the crap going on in my own life when it came out, between the election and my boss at the time who was in the process of giving his entire office mental breakdowns. I mean, i,i is just another album to me.

I never gave Author & Punisher a chance, but after hearing the song "the speaker is systematically blown", I now need to check it all out. Really good chorus.

I highly recommend the film, btw: it's NOT just meant to be shocking. It's actually rather artistic.

(Sly and Robbie dancehall remix, with totally different lyrics, AND a John Forte verse)

(Clark Kent's GORGEOUS remix, with totally different lyrics)

It just doesn't get much better than this for me.

I don't think I'd heard of Anna von Hausswolff until I saw this Pitchfork review a few weeks ago, but that album is quite glorious. Would recommend it heartily!

Spiritualized remasters of Lazer Guided Melodies & Pure Phase. Just arrived today in time for my birthday tomorrow. I had the other 2 remasters & they sound awesome so I splurged a little & got the other 2.

I cannot believe how much I loved this movie and the songs. wow.

it's a total spoiler for the movie since it's the last song but it's just so good.

Reminds me of the show-stopper from The Greatest Showman:
