i have some fun stories about these guys. i first found silver in the dollar bin in the 90s. that record alone has a legacy. in college, a friend of mine dragged me to a nearby college to see them (i was baffled to hear they were still around, especially in hindsight of their catastrophes), and hung out with the dudes for the night. they were awesome and super-friendly. i saw them again in NYC at CMJ that year, and the bassist had me hold up their keyboard stand in the air, while he jumped up on the monitor and went all jerry lee lewis on the piano during one of the songs from secaucus.
thanks for the memories, man. i still love silver, and there's some amazing stuff on the meadowlands, most of which was better live!
anyway, i've been listening to this album once a day for a few weeks now, so may as well leave this here to stay on topic:
