On a serious Pumpkins/Corgan kick lately. I've really grown to love a lot of The Future Embrace, as far as I'm concerned it's far better than people gave it credit, and I'd be excited to see some of this get live rotation considering Billy said SP shows are going to be open to all music from all of his career now; would love to see Mina Loy in a setlist especially.
Covenant - Europa. It's been a while since I played it.

Rob Zombie's Hellbilly Deluxe.
I went to the Halloween Haunt at King's Dominion here in Virginia last night, and they were playing a SHITLOAD of Zombie throughout the park all night, and it really put me in the mood for it (like, more than usual). I even heard Marilyn Manson's version of Highway to Hell and Trent's version of In The Hall of the Mountain King. Yeah, the music was pretty kick ass last night.

I can't wait to have this album.
This is Tori's hip hop song.
Inadvertant double post. >.<
An extremely underrated band.
my favorite type O album.
Creepy Green Light is my October 1st and Halloween tradition!
World Coming Down was so amazing. I felt like Peter turned a corner...maybe through losing someone close to him, and things got real.
A good example is the line "sometimes i cried but mostly laughed."
And suddenly, Type O wasn't just a kitschy thing or a tongue in cheek thing...it was more serious, more real.
THis record has helped me through some hard times, and i came here to post that i am listening to it.
Good taste, brother man.
"BRING IT ON DOWN!"
A very Happy Halloween from Gazelle Twin.
Really feeling this album today. I know it's controversial amongst SP fans, but this isn't even in my top 3 favorite SP albums. I go through phases with each one though, and I guess today is a MCIS kinda day. I still owe it to Bodies and Porcelina for giving me a love for this band, and I've always thought the second disc was infinitely stronger than the first. Stayed up late listening to Adore last night, so this is a nice shift from that. In general i've been on a hell of a Pumpkins kick lately, and it always seems like around this time of year I do for whatever reason.
I was listening to The Prodigy's Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned earlier, it sounds way way better to my ears 10 years later than it did at the time.
Its a liam howlett solo record essentially not really a Prodigy record. For the genre it is, its quite good.
Think at the time there was immense expectation following Fat of the Land.
But i quite like Always Outnumbered now....its a seedy, dirty great record to have a seedy time to!
Girls sounds phenomenal on a loud speaker
Machina II/The Friends and Enemies of Modern Music by The Smashing Pumpkins. I'm dying for the Machina deluxe package next year, really thrilled to see what's done with it. This is still one of the most interesting releases, both the content itself and story behind it that I'm a fan of. Dross ranks as one of my all time favorite SP songs, and in general I can't help but find a real charm to the lo-fi aspects of it at times (although I'm really hoping for a polished up alternative to come out with the reissue).
"Carpal jets hit the ground."
