Perhaps a romantic cliche but everytime I'm in floods of tears within seconds and continue to weep unattractively for the entire song. I just have.
no one is in the office today so I'm running these a little louder than I usually do.
I saw that. It's also got songs that weren't on it previously so that's pretty neat.
the last time I bought something from the local store they shipped it to me and it went to Seattle first. I live ~5 miles from the shop, I could have picked it up at a prearranged time or something but instead I waited five days - because the weekend also - for a record. I hope I have better luck this time.
i don't know how i slept on HUM for over 20 years but this album is INCREDIBLE. it's like sunny day real estate and silverchair had a baby with a normal voice haha. i don't know. i was listening this morning and, despite never having heard it before, it was making me incredibly nostalgic.
They went swiftly downhill after their second album, but their debut is amazing.
this song crushes.

I get the nostalgia, their sound is very much of the time. "Stars" is the reason I got into them way back when. Shame that they're a "one hit wonder" because everyone (i.e. MTV and the radio people) decided the second album wasn't worth it.
The good news is they just released a new album last month.
Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross - What if We Could?
Been smoking to this record a lot the last few nights and this song slays every time it comes on
