Queens of the Stone Age really is one of those bands who have maybe three albums you can totally argue as being their masterpiece, and I mean that in a great way. Rated R, Songs for the Deaf and ... Like Clockwork are all pretty much perfect in their own ways. Better Living Through Chemistry is a near-perfect portrait of how I felt on meds.

No Alternative. Great fucking album.
^^ I fucking love Zola Jesus!!
I wish Mexicola would never end.
This is such a gorgeous song
I've listened to Garwood before and mainly his record with Mark Lanegan "black pudding" that came out in 2013, his new one due out in one or two weeks seems like it could be his breakthrough though:
Matt McJunkins' new band. He's been the touring and studio bassist for Puscifer.
Ding, Dang my dang a long ling long...
New Camouflage single from Greyscale album, Shine.
Been listening to The XX' second album Coexist, and I don't think it gets anywhere near their debut - less melodic, less atmospheric, less memorable. I do appreciate that it has a loose concept though, and the first album took a while to grow on me.
Anyone else got an opinion on this one?
If it weren't for NIN I don't think I'd love another band as much as I love DM.
And since I've got my Black Celebration t-shirt on today I'm probably going to have to give that one another listen, too.
