Been really, really loving the new album from Still House Plants. One of the most hypnotic records I've heard in awhile.

Can't believe that I slept on this album. Stayed away from Beach Boys solo albums except for Brian's stuff. This is even better than anything solo he released (except Presents SMiLE, though I think I actually like it just as much)

I'm probably going to give that new Bring Me The Horizon album a listen today. I like the singles well enough (especially LosT) so I'm hopeful it will at least be a decent listen.

2Pac was so far ahead of his time. This song would fit right in with today's hip-hop.

The new Lip Critic album is pretty much amazing from start to finish:

@botley, it’s like listening to Metal, I Die: You Die, Only A Downstat and M.E. all at once.

Even the lyrics mention “downstat” and “crawl around the floor just like I’m real” from Metal.

One of my all-time faves, so glad they've revived it for the 45th anniversary shows this year!

It's incredibly disappointing, after what they gave us in Survival Horror.

The recent interview that came out with Oli, saying writing for the album came to an absolute halt after Fish's departure is a tad worrisome. Doesn't seem like a good breakup there. He pretty much said only two members of the band were contributing, with the others getting lost in the mix lol... Pretty crazy thing to say with the riff's they have created in the past.

Of course this is just my opinion, but listen to There is a Hell, and Sempiternal, then return to Next Gen, and the quality drops off a cliff.

So many comments saying it reminds people of My Sharona like TBOTE, lol.

    2024 version.

I honestly really like Nex Gen. I love the mix of 2000's emo, hyperpop, and metalcore they've got going on this thing. It might be my second favorite album from them behind Sempiternal. I've definitely been seeing a mixed reaction to it from other fans though.
