I have really been enjoying this Danny Elfman album, Big Mess. Over the years I was not the biggest fan of his score work, thought it always sounded the same. I thought you could sing "this is halloween" over anyone of those scores and it would fit perfect. But upon checking Big Mess out, I was totally wrong. Yes he has a sound, but great fucking album. Most exciting thing i have heard in some time. Really hope this album gets the credit it deserves. Dance with the lemurs might be my favorite so far.

I even paid for a download of the remix with Trent! Long time Oingo Boingo/Danny fan. Saw them a few times back in the day & they were an amazing live band.

I love the remix, love that TR put his voice on it and it is BY FAR my favorite sounding thing TR has been a part of in the last few years. However I do prefer the original version of True.

I keep trying to show this to people, but no one catches it.
This kid is fucking incredible. Transgender boy with five or six DOPE ass songs.
Never mentioned the gender issue before, but it's a hot topic and maybe it'll get my man some views and support. (The views he have obviously aren't organic: note the view to like/dislike ratio.)
I've talked to the kid a little online. He's cool as hell. Check it out.

You how there's songs that played all the time when you were a kid but you never learned who it was or what the song titles were and the songs are in the back of your mind for years and years and then you finally find out and it's like "Damn, they did a lot of stuff I remember, didn't know that was all them".

I gotta go get me some Local H albums.

They’re such an underrated band. Not a bad album in the bunch. Great live, too! Be sure to check out their “awesome mix tape” releases (I think they’re up to three) for some cool covers.

Thirded. I'd no idea who played those songs! And I dig them, a lot.

The post production editing on this clip has me captivated. Was the jerky motion synchronized to the beat effect done via algorithim or manually? What a fun video to watch!

Just discovered this video from 7 years ago. Really interesting concept band. And robot Spine has a stupid vocal range which is off the charts!

Seems to be a part of their thing because this one has the same twitch effect.

Gosh yes indeed, but the effect seems more "polished" in their more recent video. And the recent video includes a spinning graphic on the kick drum, which would reveal any time shifting editing unless it was manipulated in post with a replacement graphic. Which is easier to do with a stationary camera angle. Perhaps all you editing pros are laughing at me, but I really want to know how this was done. It's just so dang durn captivating!

    Goldfrapp - Silver Eye.

I've been a huge Goldfrapp fan for years, but I only gave this album probably one or two listens back when it came out, because 2017 was a shitty year for me. Revisiting it now and enjoying it much, much more. It's one of their best albums. Never would I have thought of them working with The Haxan Cloak, and the result is outstanding.
