The trash caught fire when the leaves turned brown
The vultures were circling when the circus left town
I left you a note but I wrote it in disappearing ink
Can't believe it's 50 years old and here's something I learned recently. The day it came out, it was also the same day the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds came out.
According to this article, "I Am A Nightmare" may not be included in their new album.

Mm, I also liked Mene too ( ).
I don't know what the new album will be like, but I'm still looking forward to it (and yes. The Devil & God... is a perfect album. It'll be hard for the new album to top that one).
Less than a week old.
Listening to The Roots' Summer Camp set from yesterday.
My wife and I have seen every major band playing today multiple times, with the exception of Mudcrutch (who doesn't play until 9). Should be leaving in a few hours to catch Ani Difranco, Yonder Mountain String Band, and George Clinton.
Have I mentioned Ween lately? Boogie oogie oogie oogie.

I'm listening to the Sticky Fingers and Let It Bleed albums by The Rolling Stones. I can hear some of the influence they had on Guns N' Roses. Besides that observation, I'm enjoying these albums more completely than I did 10 years ago when I mostly only liked the hit songs off of them.

I feel like I've struck gold
Julien Baker is simple yet awesome, in the truest sense of the word

I've been listening to them lately. Why are they not in the fuckin' Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame?
This is entirely different to what I'd expected but it's absolutely brilliant. Really, really enjoying it.

Constantly on play lately
I know the hate flows through from everywhere about this band but sue me.![]()
I personally don't mind Motley Crue, but I almost never listen to them, and Primal Scream is actually my favorite song by them.
The Rolling Stones were incredible.
Non-stop listening to Beggar's Banquet, Let It Bleed and Sticky Fingers
I blame The Martian for all of the disco music that I have in my head and it led me to this.... "fucking get on with it Eggsy!"
I've never heard drums swing/pop/bounce like they do on The Rolling Stones' Brown Sugar. It's really incredible.
