Spoiler: Fuck off it's his best one and everyone secretly knows it :O
The guitar solo in "Batdance" is pretty much my favorite solo of his. He just goes all-out and fuck-all for that solo. I do air-guitar to that fucking song.
Im really feeling the new Lush EP. Their first music in 20 years.
They sound exactly the same, could never tell there has been a 20 year gap.
Its reminicsent of their earlier more psychadelic stuff.
I know it's a cover but goddammit. He sings it so fucking great....

"Here in November in this house of leaves we'll pray."
I'm pleased as punch that this is being re-pressed for August release cuz I couldn't find one on RSD. Never heard much Xiu Xiu before, but love anything Badalamenti-Lynch related, and this is a damn fine album.
This song has crept into my gym playlist every day for the last week:
From one of my all-time favorite films in Andrei Tarkovsky's Solaris
I've been getting really into Ween the past like 5 days. Like going from knowing none of their music to memorizing a ton of their songs. It's going alright.
"Aren't you a sight for red eyes?"
In preparation for sunday (may day) when right wingers want to march through our city and the antifascist groups will block them!
Just made my flag and prepared my clothes/backpack.
I keep expecting this to wear off any day now and it just keeps getting better. Especially after all the final versions are out now, it's just a whole lot stronger in general, beefier bass, tighter mixing, generally better production. FML somehow got even fucking better. Real Friends is still perfect. A lot of the stuff I was less warm on when it first came out has really grown on me. Cannot get enough of it lately.
Just came out today, and it's fucking outstanding.
"I just can't believe all the things people say ..."
Such a fucking perfect funk record. I very regularly have a hard time listening to all of it because I keep hitting replay on the title and opening track. It's so flawless. How can something be seven minutes and feel like two? This has always been one of my favorites of his and, out of his classic early period, I've always felt it gets a little less love than things like '99 or Dirty Mind. But goddamn, man.
I heard a song by Ben Chatwin on the radio today, and just ordered the CD of his album titled The Sleeper Awakes. He also has a project called Talvihorros, performing live shows oftentimes as a duo incorporating live drums - performing across the globe with the likes of William Basinski, Hauschka, Tim Hecker, Oneohtrix Point Never and Loscil.
The Sleeper Awakes has some elements of Clint Mansell's sound, along with hints of Pink Floyd here and there.
Some really fantastic music he has created. Much of it can be heard on this channel:

I love the way Warren Haynes blends his song "Beautifully Broken" with "When Doves Cry." Beautifully done.
M83 - Junk
Really quite lovely.
There's a direct connection to NIN through Justin Meldal-Johnsen
