Think they'll do another weekend remix contest like with TSN? That was fun

Would you be grossly offended if I could get a share of that folder?

    Really looking forward to this.

Also, I echo the previous poster's comment.

So hang on, what audio is actually available at present moment? I just have "dotcom.mp3" from the site, and a crappy rip of that Karen O song from the teaser trailer.

Now I'm seeing the likes of this and this on YT:

Is there anything else... or is it all in that drop box mentioned?

I love the stuff we got so far.
Honestly, after the Slip, I'm really pleased that trent decided to take on these soundtracks, It's a vast improvement over his work since "And All That Could Have Been". Without the Nine Inch Nails name, and in the context of a Soundtrack, he gets to play around and experiment more than ever, and I love it.

Which is why it surpises me to see so much apathy towards the new soundtrack. I mean Trent Reznor IS Nine Inch Nails, right?

it's a soundtrack (which i believe should be called a score), the kind that's more of a background to whatever you're watching. not saying it's not important, but it's just hard for me to judge it on its own. until he throws in something more song oriented, like in Tetsuo (even better with some vocals too), it's kind of hard to care.

The website Comes Forth In The Thaw has had music/clips from the movie on it. It changes rather frequently and there is actually a thread about it in this section. I'm not sure how to acquire these files, but I'm definitely interested. I know they posted on TNH's Facebook that there were automated rips going on of the audio, but I'm not sure how much was missed and how often this happens.

http://flash.sonypictures.com/video/...c/music_02.mp3 (music_01.mp3 is the same as dotcom.mp3, and I haven't found any more music using that naming structure)

Yeah... I guess people just dig the Rez for different reasons. This is the side of Trent I've always admired most.

    from the HTDA twitter feed:

Yes, David Fincher asked us to do a cover of Bryan Ferry's "Is Your Love Strong Enough?" for Dragon Tattoo. It will be on the soundtrack.

Anyone see the brief opening credits clip on YouTube? Only about 7 seconds but you hear part of Immigrant Song different from the trailer.

I have purposely avoided the hints and teasers so far, but I can only hope TR and AR manage to capture the tonality of the film as well as they did for The Social Network.

    CD pre-order on Amazon.com

It's $25.15 to pre-order and is a 3-CD set. Looks like Trent wasn't kidding when he said he went crazy with it.

    DECEMBER 27TH?

wait that's the physical copy. Okay. Okay.

Man I cannot wait for this at all. $25.15's pretty steep though. Just gonna have to wait until after Friday to see what the announcement info is.

three hours of music though, goddamn.

I'd say it's worth it for 3 discs. I remember The Fragile almost costing that much for 2 discs.

Odds are that it will be available to download right away. The pre-order is for anyone that wants a physical copy to add to their library. Yeah, I'll probably get both the download and the 3-CD set. I can't afford a super-deluxe vinyl edition.

Wow, it's great to have ETS up and running. Not a minute too soon, given the wave of news coming forward regarding the soundtrack, HTDA, etc. I cannot wait to get my hands on these pieces, even if the super duper deluxe NIN freak edition of the soundtrack puts me in debt for the next few months. That Youtube R.U. clip was amazing!

Damn. I guess we'll have to see the price on the six vinyl set. I have all of this money saved up, and now I might have to splurge. This score should be amazing. Almost three hours of music from TR and AR makes me even more excited to get this score!
