    David Lynch

I think there's a fair amount of fans in the forum of this awesome and talented man... love his movies, series, ads, music, even the fuckin hair!
Personally a can't wait for a new movie, "Inland Empire" is 6 years old and i think we deserve a new Lynch film to fuck with our heads...

    My favorite Lynch movies:

    1. The Elephant Man
    2. Lost Highway
    3. Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me
    4. Blue Velvet
    5. Wild at Heart

Did you guys liked "Crazy Clown Time"? i think is pretty fuckin' sick!

    Boo Berry!!!

Something I'm surprised hasn't happened, a Trent Reznor and David Lynch MUSICAL collaboration.

Trent should invite David to be a member of NIN. Not only could he perform live, but he could direct a documentary of the tour.

Mulholland Drive was one of the hardest films I've ever watched. I guess that was the point. But still. Christ. The orgasm scene is really fucking painful.

The scene in the Twin Peaks movie when Laura and Leland are at the dinner table and Leland confronts her about washing her hands....

She gets that fucking look on her face for like 10 minutes. Ugh......

Now THAT is a rough scene.

^^That whole movie leaves you completely and utterly emotionally exhausted. At the end you're almost happy she dies and finds some small semblance of peace...

I posted a wishlist of directors on twitter the day the new single dropped, David Lynch was at the top of that list.

I'm shitting my pants right now.

side note: i listened to Crazy Clown Time all the way through the other day (in anticipation of the new album) and, though a few of the songs were really enjoyable, one or two were SO ANNOYING, one was absolutely terrifying (and not in a fun way, like his movies), and the rest were kind of boring. :/ hoping the new album is a bit better.

The only track on Crazy Clown Time I didn't like was Strange and Unproductive Thinking. Movin' On might be my favorite track.

Re-watched Lost Highway last night... I made sense of Mulholland Dr. and Inland Empire, but I still have no idea about this one. Unless you take him morphing into Pete as something that's physically happening, and that Robert Blake is some sort of demon.

I remember Lynch saying once that the inspiration of "Lost Highway" was O.J. Simpson's case and the fact that someone can forget an horrible thing he did... and i think that says a lot of the movie...

The most confusing one for me still is "Inland Empire"

i've always thought that the part where a place is described where you're sealed in, never knowing when someone is going to walk up behind you an put a bullet in your head (poorly paraphrased because i haven't watched it in a while), is a metaphor for the entire film. he's stuck in a constant cycle of his own, self-created hell.

Just in case someone out there hasn't finished watching Twin Peaks...

Spoiler: But what about the beginning of the film, and how it relates to the end ("Dick Laurent is dead")? Is anything we see in the film actual reality then? I don't know... I see similarities between Bill Pullman's character and Leiland Palmer when he's possessed by Bob in Twin Peaks, so that lead me to come to the conclusion that a lot of the movie may actually be happening.
