Saw All Pigs Must die over the weekend in Providence, which sports Ben on drums and Kevin from Hope Con on vocals. They shredded so hard. Excellent band that sadly will never get enough attention bc of Converge's larger shadow, similar to Mutoid Man. Here's their St. Vitus set in Brooklyn from the same weekend in pretty much perfect video and audio:

Just on my second listen through. Yet another stone cold classic. Current favourites are trigger, a single tear, the dusk in us and thousand miles between us. Love the new outro on I can tell you about pain.

I love this album. One of the best in 2017 to me, only after the first listen!

I agree with all of your picks too....how odd!

So I got my vinyl album today (and my CD is slated for delivery tomorrow) and I got a lot of goodies with it. I got a poster of the album, three stickers (Converge The Dusk In Us "stacked logo" cover, a Deathwish sticker and one that has the Burn logo on it that says "Do or Die") and one oddity...I got a gatefold jacket for another vinyl album. I got one for Acid Tiger, which I looked and seen is a Death Wish record alumni, but it has no record nor any slits on the sleeve. Looks like a misprint gatefold that I got on accident?

I'll post photos tomorrow if @eversonpoe doesn't beat me to it as always.

mine hasn't come yet! post away

i'm guessing they put it in there as extra packing material. usually you get extra sleeves when you do a pressing, and i've had deathwish use them as packing material before. plus, if it looks cool, you can always frame it! haha

    5 - You Fail Me
    6 - No Heroes

of all of their material from jane doe onwards, jane is the one i connect with the least emotionally. sure, it's got some AMAZING songs (hell to pay being my favorite), and concubine is an incredible opener, but when you listen to you fail me knowing it was the next album they did, it's so much better than jane, in my opinion. i know i'm in the minority, here, but that's ok. i still really like jane, it's just far from my favorite.

I'm not gonna rank albums but The Dusk In us is very very very close to the top. 25+ years later and still consistent output.

Was going to post about Wear Your Wounds but I see above me it has been done. Need to acquire some vinyl for it. Loving it currently.

Bought Dunedevil (same variant as you @eversonpoe) and pre-ordered the clear with yellow splatter Live at the BBC EP.

    Need to get WYW.

i love wear your wounds so much. it's so nice to hear jacob doing something a little different that's such a great vessel for his strong emotional content. i adore converge, but i can't always listen to them. i can put wear your wounds on pretty much any time and enjoy it.

Converge dropped 20+ new merch designs at their official store. Quickest $200 I've spent in...a few months lol.
