Hard to believe it was 2006 when I listened to the last new Tool album.

I'm soooooooo glad I held off on Descending and Invincible and got to hear them played live for the first time hearing them.

What's the source for the lossless version?

It’s an overdub. There are a few on all the albums.

This may be the greatest album I have heard this decade.

With 13 years of anticipation this album had a lot to live up to. I think it succeeded. Worth the wait for sure.

Took me forever to download it last night so I gave up. Finally finished the download this morning very quickly and will listen later. Sampled some and love what I hear!

It should be all over by now; R U tracking the right thing? The Internet is a Kingdom of leaks....

And yes, it was the Vegas thing: https://www.reddit.com/r/ToolBand/co...tm_term=cv4hz4

I have to say: this album exceeds any expectations I had. Completely blown out of the water.

Looks like he deleted all of the threads he started last night. Probably a good idea.

I’m not gonna lie, Descending is easily the best thing Tool has ever put out.

High praise. Invincible was my favorite when I heard it live, but Descending has surpassed that in the studio for some reason. Pneuma is my favorito, it's so incredible musically and lyrically.

    Tool

This album is long enough that it’s gonna take me some time to really absorb but there’s really so much here and it’s all good. Like, there’s nothing I’ve bypassed. Nothing I’ve tuned out.

This is absolutely something I’m confident was worth waiting for.

Also I’ve loved Invincible since the live versions. It’s even better on the album. I feel the lyrics in my soul.

    This is fucking incredible.

Right now it kind of just sounds like 7 incredible tool tracks all in a row. I think once we get the segues it will feel like a top notch tool album. Already blows 10,000 Days right out of the water.

I'm going to be listening to invincible all day.

It's way too early to rank it against the other albums for me, but I do love what I hear. I'm really looking forward to listening to the whole thing with the bonus segue tracks included. I'll try really hard not to wear it out this week, but that's going to be difficult...

I actually deleted the leak from this morning after grabbing it. I pondered not getting it. Then I did. Then I had a last second change my mind right before playing it. I slept on it, awoke and decided I would rather just have my first listen be of really high quality through my loud speakers. I am very excited that everyone seems to think it met or exceeded expectations however. Honestly I was just hoping for something as good as 10K Days.

Google search, file type of your choice, past hour results only. Easy-peasy.

On a long bus ride, staring out window. Just got through Descending. Album is like a companion to Lateralus. Really loving it.
