It's his signature thing, like it or not. You expect to see Kiss in the makeup, and you expect to see Iggy with no shirt on. I agree it can be off-putting, which is partly his intention I imagine.

I saw him live in Pittsburgh in 1998. Great set. He was 50/51 at the time and if I can move half as well as he did when I hit 50 - or look that good? - then I'll be in a pretty good place.
