And, is anyone else troubled that Gul Dukat... of all beings, is suddenly posting on the boards? Are you getting WiFi in the fire caves now... or did you and the pha-wraiths escape?

Ah yes, Dukat the liberator, the protector, the savior. As prefect of Bajor, you were like a caring father to your bajoran children. That is how the bajoran people should have seen you. Their biggest sin was failing to appreciate your greatness.

I just read about that. Nog, Odo, Charlie X... not to mention DC Fontana. It's been a rough year for Trek fans. Rene had just finished up a huge story arc revisiting his role as Odo for the game Star Trek Online not long ago.

    NO!!!!!!!!!

I loved him so much. I first saw him in the 1976 remake of King Kong (an awesome film for so many reasons) and I've been a fan ever since.

RIP René. Thank you for all the wonderful memories.

But I wanted to post an invisible tweet!

I tried it but I still can't see it. Oh well... Thank you, dear friend!

It was that! I see the tweet!

If I was living in a Star Trek universe, I would managed to get myself killed while ordering food from a replicator.

As my beloved and I continued to watch TNG, the S2 episode "Contagion" is probably my favourite so far.

    May contain spoilers...

I am a huge TNG, DS9, VOY, DISC fan and I am open minded and accept change. but I did not enjoy much of the writing, acting, and production for Picard S1E1. I'm somewhat underwhelmed.

Hollywood fight scenes and X-Men powers don't really fit into ST (unless we are talking about Q)

Personally I think it was too easy, poor writing, and cliche to introduce a girl, give her extraordinary meaning and purpose, have Picard state that the girl means more than anything to her, kill her, then reveal she has a clone sister.

I am PRAYING that this isn't just some Rogue Star Wars show where a bunch of underground/outcast space junkies help Picard with his unsanctioned mission(s) to save the princess. Additionally, droids (clones) are a big threat. Like seriously think about it.

I get it, it's a shtick but I couldn't fathom living a life where you sit and just bash shit for like an hour straight. I get it, you're such a good critic that nothing will obtain your neckbeard-esque level of perfection.

Fifteen years ago me: yeah man that shit sucks!
Now me: meh. I enjoyed it, everything else means jack shit to me!
