Kinda not super into In Flames but this song is great.
most of what i've done in the last few years is some combination of doom/sludge/black metal, with elements of other things because i've never given a shit about sticking to genre.

^ if you like your metal dark, brooding, and instrumental with beautiful vocalizations (courtesy of two friends) and occasional blast-beat sections. still might be my favorite album i've done, honestly.

^ if you like your metal dark, intense, and with lots of screaming & blast-beats. this was the first album i put out (with vocals) where i did EVERYTHING.
i put out another one a few months after with the same parameters, but mostly singing and only a little screaming, which i like but not as much.
i also put out two albums (one post-rock, one metal) and a covers EP (doom metal) this year besides the new electronic stuff, and am already almost done with another album.
pretty much all my stuff is on streaming services, too, if that's more your jam.

No, that's fine for me, thanks. Bandcamp is my go to address for digital files. If I spent 10 bucks a month on music I'd rather have one or two albums in my collection and spens time with those than have unlimited streaming.
I wishlisted these two. Do you know if there will be another Bandcamp friday in August?
It was 2010. I was binging Arrested Development and listening to various stand-up CD's, so I downloaded The Big Picture thinking it was a David Cross stand-up recording. The music began and I was like, "okay, this is probably just the intro", then the singing began and I was like "wait a minute, where are the jokes?" I rushed to last.fm and, after reading the artist bio, I was like, "oooohhh, there's two of them". I had felt just like George Michael Bluth when he had watched the TV series Oz thinking it was The Wizard of Oz.
maybe I just came from r/music, who can say.
"Sleep Sounds" playlist by Apple Music. It's just tranquil ambient music - sometimes sad. I am too depressed right now to listen to anything with words or energy. Don't know how I got into this dark state of mind.
*looks around*
I've got some ideas...
we watched an episode of Dark last night and there was a poster for a Modern Talking tour in 1987 (which we freaked out about because we love them) so i figured i'd put them on this morning. if you're never watched one of their videos, i would highly recommend checking some of them out, because they're ridiculous.

Oh hell yes.
lol, I remember getting that album because Wes is on it. I should listen to it again, it's been a good couple of years since I've heard it.
Oh shit, and Atticus was involved with that album? Wild.
Currently listening to:
Holy crap I forgot how good these are. Also Daron...dude, chill.
I'm should listen to Daron's solo albums again. I know I didn't like them originally but I do want to see it with a new lens, much like the FFTL.
didn't daron turn into a racist xenophobic asshole? woof.
that FFTL album is amazing. a huge step up from their first album. i also got it because wes played bass (and because i found the cover extremely intriguing). wish it was mixed a bit differently, though. something about it has always sounded off.
too bad sonny jumped ship and became fucking skrillex, and then the band started sucking :/
