They are playing Philly on my birthday, and Mel & I have tickets. Last time we saw the, we got to the show late (it was in NYC) and had an obstructed view. This time, we can walk to the venue. Can't wait!

Yes! I'm sad I will be missing them when they play Boston, but this makes up for it, and grants hope for more future tours!

so they're already selling the album at shows? I guess that means it'll leak any second now right?

There's some good quality vinyl rips out there. About to give a listen. So excited to hear how these songs translate into the studio.. EDIT: Holy fuck Albanian (now Mladic) fucking destroys.

OCTOBER IS HERE. I was hoping to hear two unreleased songs at the concert tomorrow. Now they're both released. Albanian and Gamelan albeit under new names.

I've only had a chance to listen to the first two songs, but so far it's pretty amazing.

The show in Philly was pretty great. Really chill crowd too - not a lot of hooting and hollering, but a couple of "Thank you" callouts.

The show I saw them play was mind blowing... unfortunately I was standing next to a security guard who was bitching the whole show about how "I guess you need to be on drugs to understand this faggy music." The rest of the crowd was ok for the most part. I really need to see them again.

This record is AMAZING. It is very hard for me to think they were not inspired by al the shit going on in the Middle East at the moment. But I could be wrong.

From a different perspective, this came out just in time for Halloween as this record will awesome to play whilst sitting next to the bonfire piss drunk this Fall. And it goes quite nicely along with the new Caspian album that was just released.

so I like the record, but I'm dubious that this is a good rip I downloaded. The whole thing sounds kinda muddled. The music is good, but I'm hoping that there's a better sounding version out there, because this pretty much sounds like it was ripped from a youtube stream.

I went to the show monday. Went to the merch guy, asked if he had it in cd or vinyl format. He said "nope, sorry bro." hahaha I dont look at all like a bro. But, it was weird I saw people who were carrying them all over the place at the show, so maybe they were out of them? or he just didnt want to sell me one? I dont know, maybe I am paranoid?

Bought the vinyl today from a local record shop and am fairly blown away by the packaging. Really cool. Trying to figure out what to do with the poster included. The more I hear Mladic, the more I feel like it's one of the top 3 best GY!BE songs. So good. I'm incredibly intrigued by this new hour long song, too.

Mladic is so good. There's one section where it's pretty much a metal song. I want to listen to the new hour long song. Is there a good recording out there yet?

So I was listening to the new album last night, and forgot to switch back to 33rpm after Their Helicoptor's Sing and ended up listening to We Drift Like Worried Fire in 45rpm, and it actually sounds really fucking cool at that speed. I highly suggest checking it out.
