He just wants a fight. When you're fighting with him he has your attention and he's draining your energy.

    This is how narcissism operates.

Also you can earn Amazon (or whatever) credit for searching. I paid for the Tool CD with it.

    Kamala is out.

At this point we may very well just narrow the race down to Bernie, Biden, and Warren. The others seem to be going nowhere.

Not at all surprising. Most of them had no chance of winning, much less beating Trump.

I don't understand how we're arriving at a point where Trump can only be theoretically beaten by Biden.

It's fucking insane. I wish Pete had a better chance, but this is America.

I agree. I think Buttigieg is young enough and moderate enough to get swing voters, but... the US isn't there yet.

I would call Biden the worst candidate right now......I don't understand why people want Biden now more than ever.

The president has created a "but her emails"-level distraction around Biden. Give us Warren and his distraction gets him nowhere!

as the days pass I just don't know if I see anyone beating Trump, and it kills me on the inside.

    these are just thoughts/opinions.
I think America isn't ready for a gay president, so count Pete out.
I think there's "socialist" fear with Bernie, and Warren too.
Trump will use the Ukraine thing against Biden and his base is stupid enough/willing to buy into it.

    I hope I'm wrong.

Biden is a "clean slate" vote. The only thing that can sink him at this point against the monstrous tragedy-that-is-Trump is for him to go gaffe-crazy and sound like a hospital escapee... which he has a clear tendency to do.

Yeah, the whole "crazy gaff" thing scares the shit out of me. I do NOT want that man running the country. (That, and the "pot is a gateway drug" bullshit from the other week.)

As unthrilled as I am at the prospect of a Biden candidacy, let it just be known I'd vote for a fucking rock with googly eyes if it was running against Trump; Biden would still easily get my vote.

I've been watching a video that I'm not even going to share here... it's so insane. Somehow it hasn't gotten traction, but god... it's so fucking bad.

Can Biden just shut the fuck up and go into hiding already? I feel like that's his clearest path to the White House.

Pete talks a good game, but ultimately he's full of shit.

He actually has a TON of support in Iowa, but when you really look at his record and the stuff he's REALLY saying, he's totally full of shit. Not because he's GAY, but because he's full of shit.

He has NO idea what to do with minorities. Ultimately, he's a nice clean elite WHITE Rhodes scholar and a veteran who couldn't even manage to fix problems in South Bend, let alone be qualified to represent the world's most powerful country.

Right now, my vote is for Bernie Sanders.

At least he's not totally full of shit.
Doesn't sound WTF at all to me. I've been put off from Biden ever since I realized that "2019 Biden" seems a lot more unhinged and bumbling than "last 50 years Biden". Don't get me wrong, I'll vote for him in a heartbeat if he gets the nod, but if I could vote in the primaries I wouldn't be voting for him. Warren seems to be starting to slide a bit in the polls, but it's obviously early still and god knows polling ain't everything. I think Pete is, sadly, starting to lose a lot of people with some of the things that have been popping up in interviews and events. Still not sure what to make of Yang. But Sanders has a massive base left over from '16, so it seems like all of them basically have to play catch up there.

I'll be voting for whoever hits the ballot, but if it were my choice right here and now, I think I'd lean toward Warren, with Sanders a close second.

    Here's a disturbing thought:
Biden said he'd like to run for one term only (understandably)

    ...what if Biden wins...

...and then Trump runs again in the next election (and wins)

    ugh

If current UK politics has taught me anything (other then there is no hope anymore) it's that the Dem's NEED to make sure you get someone running that everyone gets behind, they cannot afford anyone who is even a tiny bit divisive! Getting everyone behind them within the Dem's is vital to unseating Trump.

There isn’t an option that isn’t divisive in SOME way. I really think Biden is our worst chance and we’re falling into a trap here

drop the impeachment bullshit..it will backfire massively. the right will punish you and double down...

we tried to cancel Brexit, the left have been ANNIHILATED, as a result, in the most appalling way, we are not the same country the situations are very different however the two biggest Anglo democracies have a lot in common, and you are reacting to your 2016 shock the way we did.
step out of the denial phase before its too late!!!!!

You need to look up “impeachment.”

The U.S. is a country and a Democratic Republic. Article IV of the United States Constitution "guarantee[s] to every State in this Union a Republican form of Government.” Each State has its own Constitution, its own elected legislative body, and its own elections (including the Presidential election).

    Impeachment ain’t Brexit.

Corbyn is a raging anti-Semite. He deserves everything he gets.
