NIN's Bad Witch was ranked #9 in this week's Entertainment Weekly magazine's "Must List." The accompanying blurb: "Dissonant beats, brutal synths, and the occasional sax punctuate the latest by Trent Reznor's industrial outfit. Bad Witch is about dual truths in a new world: 'Why try change when you know you can't?' he asks on 'Ahead of Ourselves.' On another track, it's 'New times mutation, feels all right.' Like the rest of us, Reznor is still stuck in the middle."

I feel like (maybe because it's an album) Bad Witch is getting more attention than the previous two releases got

Robert Smith did a guest spot on BBC 6music (covering for Iggy pop’s show) and it was meltdown themed. He played “every day is exactly the same”.

I feel like they misinterpreted the interview he did shortly after NTAE came out where he talked about how playing guitar felt exciting again.

This is a little stretch, but on tonight's episode of Westworld, 'Vanishing Point', the tagline is, 'One may try to kill it all away, but one remembers everything.'

Any bets on a version of Hurt being played during the episode?

saw the gang in vegas on wed. thurs i went to a dispensary before the long flight home from vegas to STL to take care of my anxiety. which btw was the worst flight i've ever had, so i'm glad i medicated beforehand tbh.

saw the paper copy of this in the waiting lobby.

Wasn't sure if this should go here or somewhere in the Tour Section, but this is a great, honest review of a couple of the shows in Vegas - http://antiquiet.com/reviews/2018/06...-in-las-vegas/

I enjoyed that, but the author needs to ease up on the thesaurus. now I want to go and listen to the cure’s “desperate journalist”

"I was legitimately concerned about it." lol

Edit: We need to rehearse Copacabana so we can sing it at Trent at Radio City.

I see right now on drudgereport.com that Drudge is linking to this article, which I was surprised to see. Would post a screenshot before it's gone (headlines circulate out fast) but can't right now.

“And the process of digging is redemptive to me. If it’s to exorcize something out of your system, as unpleasant as it can be, it feels like, even if you don’t find what you wanted to find, you looked, and that’s more than you would have done had you not done it.”

Holy. Shit. This response makes me feel like when I was 15 in 1994, discovered TDS and got into NIN. Someone much smarter and more creative than I could ever be knew how I was feeling.

Don’t worry, I’ll stop gushing soon, but 24 years later, I know I chose well and I try to follow that above statement.
