Now that was a really great episode. What name are they going to give to those creepy cannibal things in the haunted looking house?

At least I got to see Maggie in a few frames…

I'm totally behind; I've been all depressed and shit. I'm trying to snap out of it.

Thanks. It's my own damn fault, though. I've been doing it for years.
I'm bipolar. And I'll start to feel ok and decide that I can get by without my meds, and that they're making me not "me," and I'll stop taking them. And then, inevitably, I wind up horribly depressed, or insanely manic.
This has been going on since 1997. You'd think my crazy ass would've learned to stay on the meds by now.
@Erneuert I don't know WHAT in the holy hell those cannibal animal dudes were!

Secondly, if Virgil makes it back to our group, surely he'll tell everyone Michonne went to look for Rick, right?

Also, that last scene: is this where Leah and Daryl take off together?

Hmmmmm. If they're gonna go full Negan redemption arc, it would be awesome if Negan risked his life to save Maggie by killing Pope. And then Negan could say "see, I really HAVE changed, and I'm sorry for killing Glenn," all emotional like.

Also, I don't think that "Stephanie" is Stephanie. Remember the girl getting Milton's ice cream order? I think that's the REAL Stephanie.

Actually, i'm 99% sure, because we found out who plays Stephanie LAST YEAR.

It's Margot Bingham, of Boardwalk Empire fame, and, uh, she isn't a pasty white lady.

So unless there's some fuckery going on with casting, then, we know for SURE that the lady who set Eugene up or whatever that was, isn't Stephanie.

Good episode. Some people are speculating that Maggie and Negan could end up hooking up. How fucked up would that be? lol

”Yeah, if I could do it all again I’d have killed all of ya.”

So the kid who kills Rick in the comics, Sebastian, is punched in the face by Eugene in tonight’s episode. Good for Eugene! What a spoilt little asshole.

Finally caught up. I really did not like this latest episode! Call me a wimp, but I hate scary movies. I know it's weird that I like Walking Dead, but Walking Dead is not scary. This episode totally tried to go the scary movie route. The whole "pop up" "jumping out" scenes I despiseeeeee. I get scared and jump really easily, I'm a wimp! lol And those caveman-like guys, whatever you call them, reminded me of the girl from The Ring. I hate The Ring - it messed me up after seeing it. That whole scene was just a waste of time - didn't add anything to the story, which frustates me again on how this "finale" is taking so long.

    /endrant /totalwimp

I hope Daryl kills Pope and the blonde girl. I don't trust her for some reason.

    Lol @ickyvicky . I'm sorry, though.

Hey, so Vicky and @Erneuert (edit: goddamnit ryan, I STILL fuck up spelling your screen name half the time,) , something has become clear to me, I think.

This isn't an "epic 24 episode final season."

I'M thinking that these first eight episodes were meant to.be season 11 originally, but they wound up condensing it, because of covid and timeframes and such.

I'm just really getting that vibe. Even though I'm loving these first eight episodes, they don't really feel "epic" or "final," you know?

It's cool @elevenism I'm not embarressed to admit it, lol

I agree, they don't feel epic or final at all. It's like they still want to go through the story.

Oh, no, I meant I think it's funny, but i'm also sorry that it scared you like that.

Yeah, every great once in awhile they have a mini horror movie episode. I like them, but I understand people not being into jump scares and such.

ha ha. I misspell it logging in sometimes too, lol.

It’s weird being a huge fan of Animal Kingdom and TWD now. Pope is the (nick)name of one of the main characters from Animal Kingdom since 2016, and now I’m seeing/hearing his name here.

Yeah, I agree, nothing seems final about any of this. I’m just curious about Andrew Lincoln now. He’s had his time off. Wouldn’t he be itching to come back in some capacity? Not just in movie form, I mean.

Having Morgan still around in FTWD makes things feel less “endingish” as well. I mean, he has been on TWD since day one.

Well… I kinda had a crush on Leah until that ending. Boo.

Is it me or does the actress look a lot like June from FTWD?

All caught up with this season so far and it’s just so meh in my opinion. Certainly doesn’t feel like a final season. At this point I’m only watching just to get through it. Mostly interested in Negan and Darryl. Don’t like Maggie.

So here is my theory @ItsChrisRoss

This first eight episodes were a condensed version of what was originally meant to be the PENULTIMATE season, season 11, with Season 12 originally having been planned to be these next 16 episodes.

We talked about that some days back.

I'd bet the farm on it.

    @Enur...enuere..ernu...fucking RYAN lolol.
@Erneuert (holy shit I think I've got it.)

Could Carol/Daryl Spinoff be a trick, so Daryl can get Rick's comic death?

As far as this new anthology, I have a feeling it'll be good.

The first thing that comes to mind is Abraham and Eugene on the road from Texas. I've heard that dude REALLY wants to be back on the show somehow.

The article says a Carol/Daryl spin-off is still happening.

I know what you mean, BUT, they have the potential.to be good.

I'm not into Star Track, but didn't they have like, literally seven or eight successful spinoffs/reboots?

    The Walking Dead (SPOILERS)

I stopped watching FWD a year or two ago and saw commercials for it and had to look up what the hell was going on with the nuclear fallout they were showing. Jesus I just think it’s so stupid. Glad I stopped watching.
