Either way, enjoy. This album is an incredible experience.
I've had the album on CD for years and love it. I'm gradually getting some of my favourite cd's on vinyl, this is the latest... Curious as to your question tho, not sure whether you were asking about whether I'd heard the album or this particular pressing? If the latter, no, I'd not heard it and I've only played it at low volume while we ate on Thursday evening...

Yea, it's an absolutely stellar record. Palumbo's voice is incredible generally but, IMO, probably at it's strongest on this record

Probably an odd choice but "I Must've Run All Day". I got into this album in a big way following major bowel surgery in 2006, this is probably one of the tracks I listened to most whilst I was recovering...

finally got my copies of Without You I'm Nothing & Black Market Music, both on black 180g (these must be cursed for me, because i ran into problems with shop radio cast charging me for them, which had NEVER happened with them before).

anyway, currently listening to Without You I'm Nothing and it sounds fantastic!

also, got my cola-colored copy of Irony Is A Dead Scene by dillinger escape plan yesterday!

So for Christmas my wife bought me the 20th anniversary Superunknown 180g and my dad bought me the re-press of Radiohead's Hail to the Thief.

I've also ordered for myself the EU pressing of Mellon Collie, Sunn O)))'s Monoliths and Dimensions, Clark's ST and Flame Rave EP as a bundle and Four Tet's Late Night Tales

so i've gotten a LOT of records for myself lately that i hadn't taken pictures of until today, and i also got seven things for x-mas (two from my wife, two from my best friend in philly, and three from my parents).

    things i've bought myself:
the dillinger escape plan & mike patton - irony is a dead scene EP (cola vinyl)
    labradford - mi media naranja
    grimes - art angels
the black queen - ice to never 12" single (number 101/233)
the harrow - silhouettes (white vinyl) @Franki eteardrop 's fantastic band
placebo - black market music (180g 2015 remaster)
cocteau twins - blue bell knoll (180g remaster)
    from my wife:
ben frost - steel wound (2015 reissue)
the dear hunter - act iv (swamp green vinyl, i think? it's really hard to tell whether it's swamp green or gold, and i can't find pictures of both online)

    from my parents:
aphex twin - selected ambient works vol ii
mouth of the architect - dawning (gold vinyl)
    from my friend in philly:
merzbow / full of hell EP (180g)
kylesa - exhausting fire (clear vinyl)

    also from my parents:
swans - white light from the mouth of infitinity / love of life 3xLP & CD box set

Got a weird quirk in my vinyl collecting, I like to have the hype sticker accompanying my records as it makes me feel like I'm in a record store as I flip through them. Looking for hype stickers with original shrinkwrap if possible for Gone Girl and the Social Network but a cutout of the sticker would suffice. I know a lot of people consider these useless garnishes and throw them away, but if there's someone here who has no use for them and has begrudgingly held on to them I'd gladly pay. I could hypothetically pick up Gone Girl again on vinyl for cheap but then I have a whole extra copy. The Social Network is way harder to come by, I'm happy just to have it but the hype sticker would definitely satisfy my OCD.

Posting this in a few threads due to relevancy!

3xLP in a gatefold (so two discs in one side, one in the other). it looks like it's $37.99 on amazon.com and 37.99 pounds (i can't remember where the pounds symbol is on the keyboard haha) on .co.uk which is absolute bullshit. both say there's only one copy left, though, which is interesting. you would probably be better off buying it from .com and paying the little bit of extra shipping to get it to you.

didn't get to listen to as many of my new records as i would have liked this weekend, so i'm hoping i can over new years and my birthday (next saturday).

Thanks man, much appreciated. I've not had much chance to listen to records either, I've decided to redecorate my (dining) record room and that creates a fucking mountain of dust. I have a master plan to create a load more storage since I'm approaching 400 12" records plus box sets, 10"'s and 7"'s and my ever increasing collection of blu rays and DVD's. Had to find a solution but it involves all this redecorating which means no record time 😠

Just a heads up for anyone still needing to pick up Ghosts I-IV on vinyl, got mine today on Amazon (sold by -importcds) for $37 shipped which I consider to be a great deal. It was always around $40 but I had kept it on the back burner forever while chasing the older stuff, then went out of stock on Amazon and suddenly started going for $70+ on eBay, discogs, everywhere. I felt like a real ass that I hadn't picked it up when I could have cheaper. It's still hovering around $50 everywhere I look so if you need it cheap that's the place.

my wife got me two records for my birthday:

    Steve Moore - "Cub" score
Cocteau Twins - Heaven Or Las Vegas ... which i already had, but somehow forgot and put it on my x-mas list. and my wife forgot that she had given it to me for x-mas a couple years ago, which makes it even funnier.

probably gonna get one or two things from my parents this evening so i'll be back

    Christmas vinyl acquisitions (clicky biggy)

By coincidence, two white vinyl pressings. These all are:

    • Lanterns on the Lake - Beings. This is a shoegaze-ish band from my local area (friend of mine is the bassist) who have made a post-shoegaze album. Recommended.
    • Carter Tutti Void - f(x). If you like Coil, TG, etc., or even Trent Reznor's instrumental stuff - especially the Quake OST - you should check this out.
    • Grimes - Art Angels. No introduction necessary. Also Visions on CD.
    • The deluxe edition of New Order - Music Complete. The flat wax there is every album track remixed to a full 12" side at 45rpm (the last side of the black one has a tudor-style engraving instead). The upright wax is the regular album on clear 2LP/33. I actually already had that, so I've got the sealed clear 2LP from within the boxed set to sell on. (Oh yeah that's the box on the far right)

Invada Records are having a big January sale. Worth it if you want to snag Drokk or Ex Machina by Geoff Barrow & Ben Salisbury, Bronson OST, Hannibal S1 Vol 1&2, S2 Vol 1&2, Far Cry 3&4 OST, Old Boy OST etc for massively reduced prices. I'm gonna be buying loads from them, personally I think they're one of the best indie labels in the UK right now.

Is this a month-long deal? Can't find details on the site and they're running deals on all the colored vinyl of Hannibal which would cost me more to buy domestically in the US on black from Amazon. Definitely interested.
