I actually cried a little bit at what you wrote on facebook this morning. Heh. Things have actually been going pretty well on that front recently. I'm still dealing with the effects of all of the shit that went down in July, but I feel much better now. I haven't missed my medication for one day since I started taking it again. And I've been going to group therapy and then just one on one once a week up until this week... I'm trying to find a new doctor and therapist right now, as that place was really focused on substance abuse, and they weren't equipped to help me, really.

Dude, don't worry about it; lots of people, especially in the U.S., are confused about Islam, you aren't the first or the last, don't beat yourself up, you didn't say anything hateful or evil, you just had lack of knowledge like a lot of people. You opened the door for discussion.

I've said worse, more-misguided shit than that on here about the same topic. Don't beat yourself up. Discussion is a living organic thing... this is the sort of thing that should make you angry, but still when you get angry you sometimes say things that you haven't thought out.

i feel like i don't have much to add except this: everyone here is OK exactly as they are. guilt, fear, rage, etc... are terrible (though necessary) emotions, but everyone has them. everyone is in the same boat in one way or another right now. the power to get through this shit is in numbers, and seemingly, that's what this board has. everything will NOT be fine at the moment, but there is a support system. which makes all the difference.
really makes you introspect, doesn't it? strangest life i've ever known.

I also like your sense of humor and always am thankful that you understand, accept and even admire @Hazekiah because in a way, that's also like understanding me in a way. (Even though I'm nowhere near as adventurous as he is.)
Oh, and please pardon this brief "blast from the past", but I always gave you the benefit of the doubt back then. I also admire how you also take things in stride on the Internet too, just like Hazekiah. I also find you to be very down to Earth.

@Wolfkiller - I did not want to leave you out of this as it would not seem right for me to do so anyway. With that being said, thank you for being one of the latest users that have heard me out and took the time to understand where I was coming from. It is still very much appreciated. I also actually find you to be rather amusing and witty in your own right as your posts also sometimes provide some comic relief for me among others, which also makes you one of my latest users to follow.
