I actually almost didn't even bother to watch it, until I started seeing quotes and references that didn't make sense on social media...

Anyone happen to have a direct download link for it? Can't use torrents here and my connection isn't reliable enough to stream. Really want to see the new episode!

On the one hand, it was great seeing the new episode, on the other, that means I have to wait an extra week for Samurai Jack, which infuriates me because the wait is unbearable.

I swear this show has so much re-watchability. I wanna say I've seen this episode at least seven times, but today I only truly recognized and appreciated the hilariousness of this:

So many things I missed even with repeated viewings:

Been catching up on this. Addicted. I'm absolutely fascinated by the amount of effort that goes into a silly 22 minute comedic cartoon. I keep thinking about how much time goes into creature design! They have dozens and dozens of different ones in each episode, many of which we never see again. And how about all the different abstract, sometimes pointless concepts they gin up out of nowhere just for a quick laugh.

Excited for season 3 this weekend.

I know it's an incredibly boring thing to say, but it's sad to watch this show be reduced to it's shallow jokes by the vast majority of people who watch it.
There's so much subtext and amazing twisting of tropes in this show that is so maniacal and layered, and it's missed by the people who just think the base humour on the surface is all there is to it.
Eh, maybe I'm just getting old, or I'm too much of a Dan Harmon fan...
Latest episode was brilliant, per usual.

Yeah, I totally agree. I was late to the party (watching the show prior to season 2 premiere) but as an avid Adult Swim viewer I would've been a fan eventually. I notice this show has gotten mega popular in the last year for no reason. I find it funny a show that was largely ignored has a HUGE mainstream fan base now out of no where. It's been ramping up but eventually it's came to this.

The premiere was good. I read that the Adult Swim store is releasing a new t shirt every week that reflects each episode of the season as it goes on. This weeks is muscle memory arm Morty flexing haha.

Well the same could be said about Futurama and other T.V. shows really.

Morty's Mindblowers was a wonderful substitute for Interdimensional Cable. RIP Beebo.

Dan Harmon has confirmed that Season 4 hasn't been ordered and that they're basically stuck in contract negotiations with "the suits" at Turner.

I have a bad feeling about this. IF we even get a Season 4, it'll likely be both a long way away as well as the last season.

Hopefully they're at least working on writing it so that once that shit's all figured out, they can proceed full steam ahead immediately.
