thanks for the heads up, it's on NAR already, albeit in 192kps when the stream is 128kps... there may be another source elsewhere?

To be fair, Thom Yorke has the face any Philip K Dick protagonist should have. So, yeah, marital problems, erectile dysfunction, insomnia, addiction, droning citizen of an evil corporation, flying martian brain overlords, random teleportation into a parallel dimension while you were taking a shower, all are situations in which I picture Thom Yorke perfectly.

    Enjoy!

Oasis? You mean that band that wishes they were The Beatles, but suck? That band? Oasis is gone, no one cares anymore. Noel Gallagher's projects all suck. Only good song he did was Teotihuacan for the first X-Files movie soundtrack. But Noel and Oasis are nothing now.

You can't get any more hypocritical than a member of Oasis calling someone overrated! Also he's mates with Chris Martin which has to be a black mark against him.
Anyway I checked Radiohead's average album rating on metacritic and its 78% which is hardly overrated territory. I think they have the perception of being overrated, rather than the actuality - seriously the Arctic Monkeys have the same score as Radiohead, now there's an overrated band (although Noel hates them too)

Well that doesn't make that particular quote any less true.
I'm not hating on Radiohead, I love most of their albums.

But at this point in their career, they're a way for elitists to engage in the same sort of mindless herd behavior usually reserved for the (ew) vulgar masses.
It's not Radiohead's fault, but they have become the Coldplay of the socially aware, musically savvy, fashionably depressed hipsters (I hate that word, but my vocabulary's failing me).

It's not the band, it's what the name means nowadays. In that sense yeah, I agree with Gallagher.

I didn't particularly like AMOK or Tomorrow's Modern Boxes, although I love pretty much everything by Radiohead and Thom's The Eraser as well. Because I enjoy the music, not because a reviewer told me so. Gallagher can shove it.

Happy to hear this one, it would have been a shame to keep it unreleased.

Was a good song. I enjoyed it quite a bit. If the next album sounds like that more than King of Limbs I'm game.

Haven't viewed the film yet but I'm in love with the music I've heard from it so far.

That Bond tune is also stellar.. it's a shame they didn't use it

It's beyond me on why they would scrap that. Way better than the one they went with.

WASTE has been updated with new artwork and a series of different festival dates. LP9 is almost certainly happening this year, safe to say.

There's now two uploads on the Radiohead soundcloud but only one visible, so something's been privately uploaded, meaning a new single might be coming any moment, and the WASTE site's been down.

Looks like Radiohead headlining Osheaga in Montreal is a done deal.
