Oh, sorry - I missed that original request. I'll get you the MP4 this weekend. The MP4 is definitely the higher quality copy, but I made sweet menus for the DVD

    This one is on me.

It's just a rip from Soundcloud into Logic Pro via Soundflower and then some slight limiting added.

Here's the studio version of Butch Vig's remix of Last. I ordered the Smart Studios set to get the promo CD, received yesterday and ripped this morning.

    Badass. You're a hero!

For those who don't know what he's talking about:

    https://www.echoingthesound.org/community/showthread.php?p=360224

FYI, someone on reddit had done a spectral analysis that indicated this was from a lossless source. I also ran this now through auCDtect, which also is confident that this is from a lossless source.

I did, but that's for my own personal use because I don't really think it's my place to take away a sale from them since I've respected Butch's work since back in the 90s and while I don't know how much goes to him on each purchase.... I feel like he deserves his slice.

Since lower quality versions of this particular track have been floating around forever and I think even on the old remix site, I didn't think it'd be too big of a deal to post just this one track.

I will say that I've listened through the CD and I hadn't heard most of the remixes before and am happy with my purchase. The DVD that's in the package seems like a decent docu, but I haven't watched it all yet.

    You have a couple options:

    https://the-smart-studios-story.mysh...d-vinyl-and-cd

    https://the-smart-studios-story.mysh...martest-bundle

Just don't go to discogs and buy from the numbnut that's selling just the CD for $150... cause that's ridiculous.

    No apologies needed!

Yea, ignore that dick on discogs. It's sickening when people try to pull this shit.

The ebay listings for the add violence physical component that are up in the $100 range also baffle me.

I've had the Closure & Broken DVDs burned from the seed0 uploads for a couple years now, but I'm pondering actually printing some labels up and applying them to the discs. Anybody have high res scans of the Closure VHS tape artwork that could be used for said labels? I still have the VHS version in a bin in my storage unit, but rather than dig it out I'm being lazy.

Unlike last weekend's bullshit, nine inch nails was just given an actual time slot in the list of streamed bands for Panorama.

Was looking around on RITC and it doesn't appear that either one of these radio broadcast sources are in the archive (though the Oct 11 date does have a soundboard copy so who knows if that's the actual CD source). The Oct 21 date only has audience recordings listed.

Anyone happen to know if there's a download source from whoever did the radio capture other than paying for this bootleg and giving them undeserved cash?

They're not radio broadcasts. Who knew bootleggers lie?? The St. Louis show is the soundboard recording available here:

The Shoreline show is an audience recording. A good one, but audience nonetheless.

Here are the scans I have. They're ridiculously large, and gimp .xcf files, but it's what I have. Hopefully they work for you.

Did anyone managed to tape the Webster Hall gig from Monday? I've seen youtube videos here and there, I know there were tapers there because I saw them... but so far I haven't seen anything uploaded anywhere.

I was the one who ended up with the Hurt broadcast video reel from a couple of weeks ago (you know what I'm talking about if you follow the auction thread).

I took it over to a local place in Chicago that was able to transfer it for me. @FULLMETAL gave me some info on the tape specs and guided me on what to ask for while having the transfer made.

Tape is in excellent condition and the transfer looks amazing. Miles better than what's on the NIN Vevo and NIN official youtube channels.

Anyways... I put the full original file up on mega (zipping it dropped the size from 11GB to around 7GB) and I also did a couple encodes for those who are curious but don't care to download the raw file. So take your pick between x264 and x265. I compressed the audio to FLAC since it really does sound fantastic and wanted to retain it as close to the transfer as possible.

    So... I present to you:

Nine Inch Nails, Hurt - "No Shit" Version. Direct from the 1" reel, and in true stereo.
