I would disagree. I tested that and it does work, however, it does apply exactly to the sentence Break through the surface and, so this cannot be hidden, it's just luck: here's an audio with the sentence only followed by the same thing reversed... yes, coincidence.

So there's been a lot of throwback to NIN's past works between these two EPs - starting with the Not The Actual Events files having the Still artwork/font/character arrangement embedded into them. But there have been a ton of obvious, intentional references.

Has this idea been posited yet: What if these releases are a sort of memorial or effigy? What if this is a way for TR and us to look back at NIN as a whole, to look how far we're come. I don't know why, but I suddenly got reminded of Bowie with Blackstar... What if this is NIN saying goodbye?

While the LP cover is slightly photoshopped, the machines in TITP video seem to be real (the perspective and lens vignetting change slightly while the camera is moving back).

Soo, what's the consensus -- do people still think this ISN'T an ARG? Not sure if it's just wishful thinking, or really good viral marketing (even though we all probably would have bought the PC anyway) -- but I can't help but think that this is all a bit too in-depth for it not to be an ARG.

Regarding whether this is an ARG or not; because of all the blatant mention of and credit to 42 Entertainment, I'm thinking this is more of a coda as opposed to something as deep as the YZ ARG. Since we never got the TV show, maybe these are leftover ideas or stuff that was going to be introduced/resolved in the show.

Also, I spoke to a few math folks and here's what they had to say about the equation:

If you know G and y, and you are solving for X then:

X=G 10^y

If G is known, and y is unknown... you need another equation.

If neither G or y are known... you need two more equations!

So, maybe we're still waiting on something.
