First episode this season was major MEH. Even leaning closer to the "groan" side. Second episode? Pure genius. Welcome back Sunny!

I was beginning to worry! The last two episodes were so lack luster and then this one comes along and knocks it out of the park. Instant classic!

Can't believe it's the 8th season already! But yeah. The McPoyles wedding episode was instant classic. Every season seems to be split between meh and instant classics haha.

Agreed! I've been a little worried with the past couple of seasons. While it's still one of the funniest shows on TV, it's been lacking more and more frequently in recent seasons. Tonight's was so damn good.

Ha! I did not realize i said the same exact thing last week! Loopy...

I love charlie episodes, and its funny to see him succeed for no apparent reason. The audience knows things have to return to normal, but they still managed to pull something completely unexpected.

I have to re-watch this episode because I was in the the midst of hunting down gas stations while it was on. But the scene when Mac looked like he was getting pounded from behind had me cracking up. The last three episodes have been pure gold for me.

End of tonight's episode was freaking fantastic and hilarious. Just when you think this show cannot top itself, it does.

I can't decide if the last episode was genius or complete lunacy, but I do know it was riveting!

Two more seasons. I can dig it.

10 years is a damn good run. It's a pity there's almost no chance anything the guys do post-Sunny will be anywhere near as great though

The guys were misquoted. Glenn Howerton's tweet regarding the matter:
    https://twitter.com/Glenn_Howerton/s...42619095920642
"That was a misquote in Rolling Stone, y'all. We're signed on through 10 seasons, but may do more."

    And:
    https://twitter.com/Glenn_Howerton/s...63856799031297
"It's a great article in Rolling Stone. I just think he misunderstood when I said we're only signed thru 10. We still might sign on for more."

Dennis' reaction to the joke at the end was hilarious. So happy this show is back.

I agree, one of the best episodes of the series for me probably.

    There is a Spider
    It's deep in my soul
    He's lived there for years
    He just won't let go
    He's layin around
    He's got a mean bite
    Now he's ready to fight
And stand up for what he loves
I don't need your trophies or your gold
I just wanna tell you all

    Go fuck yourselves
    Wooaah
    Go fuck yourselves
    *spit*
    Wooo ooo ooo
    *spit*
    Woah oooh
    Fuck yourselves

I really mean to tell you
    Fuck you motherfuckers
I don't need you in my butt

Right when he started this song it really got me because of how earlier Dennis was like "At least he didn't sing about spiders or ghouls...". Also the Paddy's branded egg Frank had was great. That's how I like the callbacks in the show, not like the garbage episode last season or the last episode rehashing the gun debate where they base an entire episode off of calling back to a previous episode unnecessarily.

I love that they keep bringing back Z, he's hilarious.

And the bit with the sit com bar was pretty great too. So far the best episode of the season. But its been a pretty slow season

I just watched The Gang Saves the Day. That was an amazing episode. The production on Mac's fight scene and the animation in Charlie's fantasy (Done by the people who animate Archer) were both great. I never would have expected either of those from this show.

Yeah that was such a good episode. I love how Dee dies in almost every scenario but hers. Charlie's fantasy scene was too good. The rats had me cracking up.
