Looks like a hacked off penis that's squirming away from people.

    So yeah, that's about right.

I read somewhere, someone knew what outdoor venue that is...and it's something like a day after the last tour date announced (thus far)...

Or their new album, in two months...with no warning whatsoever before now.

    (going with the first)

It must be that huge 65000 capacity ampitheatre in San Bernardino that was being speculated for a show.

Just decided to check StubHub, and.... holy shit. There are a lot of tickets for the last three shows announced (over 4,300 for the Cali dates). Guaranteed you can an excellent seat for brutally cheap the day of the show.

I remeber seeing tickets in Little Rock right before the show last October, could get floor seats in the first 10 rows for about $30 since there were so many tickets available. If you live in the area and can snag that deal I'm not sure why a fan wouldn't want to go.

A new date showing up on TM:

May 25 - Hershey, PA - GIANT Center

tickets on sale this Saturday. I presume this and the June 24 San Bernardino date will be officially announced later today or tomorrow and maybe that's it for this tour?

What im saying is some people take too many hallucinagetic drugs and should probably stop.
It's interesting if nothing else. I actually like listening to the album using that tracklist arrangement.

God hasn't materialized in front of me, though.

Sounds good but I don't know how The Melvins will do in a giant amphitheater...I don't think they'll do well with the average Tool fan. If I remember correctly, when The Melvins opened up for Tool during the (Aenema?) tour I think they only got aggression from the crowd...

When basically anyone who isn't a radio star opens for Tool they get nothing but shit from the audience. Every MJK gig I've been to has had the shittiest audience I've ever been in when it comes to opening acts.

Meshugga was quite a hit with the fans.

Doesnt excuse people being rude assholes, but they're having been many decent openers for Tool or APC past decade or whatever. Same goes with NIN. I'm sure there are people that like Deerhunter or Isis or The Bug (WTF WAS THAT???) but they're in the minority. Get drunk morons who think they're funny and bad things might happen.

cant wait to see what this "special guest" is. Trying to not get my hopes up for anything cool though (like a record release date), heh.

even for $30 ... to schlep to nampa, deal with parking, deal with the idaho center security, get to your seat where people have pre-funked and are sloppy, and see the same show ... and then the process to get out of the lot and back to the city ...

yeah, i'm that guy now. still, pass.

So how serious is the no-camera policy at the shows? I've heard stories. Would I be best served to not even bother bringing my phone into the show?

Nah, you're good with a phone. It is pretty tight (security will shine their light at you and give you only so many chances) for an arena show but absolutely nothing like attempting to shoot at a Puscifer show.

It it is kind of nice to not see a bunch of phone screens up in the air, and at the same time enough people will record to get some decent YT vids.

    What section you in?...

    Tool

Danny allegedly said the band was planning recording in the fall.

Also, the "guest" had been spoken about but not confirmed.

My favorite Australian-themed Tool fan forum is now a source of "reporting".

Alrighty then, and put another shrimp on the barbie.
