I was on Kevin and Bean Friday morning.
They had some dude sing NIN songs badly. You had to name the song. I got to play the game and got the answer right, which to me was a trick question.
The answer was Dead Souls. I reminded them it was a Joy Division cover.
Out of 5 people who got the answers right, only one person got tickets. Not me. Grrrrr...

The day before that I was caller 8.

I'll be out at Ameoba tonight, hope springs eternal.

I did win tix to the dress rehersal on KROQ for Lights In The Sky, so I do feel lucky that Ive experienced a unique NIN show.
But Ive never been to the Troubador!

On a side note, i totally thought I re-registered when ETS rebooted. Long time member since 2003. Feels good to be back.

Went to Amoeba. There was a decent sized line (two actually, one for album and raffle, one just for raffle) and both moved really fast. There was also a KROQ van outside blasting the album. After I got my album and HM button pack I checked out the food truck, but since I actually cared more about getting a picture of whatever NIN themed menu design they might have had than the actual treat, I was disappointed to see no such thing existed. Oh well.

Burger was pretty good out in Claremont. They closed up the record shop like 45 mins after they opened. Seems there was a set amount of raffle tickets. Should be interesting what happens in the morning.

Missed it by 13. They had 4 pairs for each store. They gave out like 500 tickets at Amoeba vs maybe 100 at Rhino. Close, but not close enough.
