    Question about synths.

So... I'm planning on buying a new synth. Obviously my favourite band is NiN so I'd like to aim for that kind of sound.

I have a under 1k budget so these are the ones i am thinking of.

    ARP Odyssey
    MOOG Rogue
    MOOG Grandmother

What do you think would be my best choice?

I was actually thinking about a NORD LEAD 1 because it was used all over The Fragile...and that's my favorite album. But I've only ever used analog synths before so idk how I feel about it.

Probably a good choice, it's great for those aggressive buzzsaw bass lines and it can emulate some analogue sounds as well:

Would a Korg Minilogue be a good choice for a wide range of sounds?

TR uses Native Instruments, I spent a few years playing around with NI packs. ANYONE who wants to get into synth needs to buy a synth which has MIDI and needs to use NI.

MIND BLOWING library and control for anyone who wants to produce.

There are other packs too, including 'Modular Icons', but Massive x is the shit.

Here's a track I wrote using a Roland SH-201 synthesizer and FL Studio for percussion and layering, there likely is some Native Instruments being used too. Can you tell that I like NIN and HTDA?
