Damnit, and I'm stuck at school where certain types of traffic are blocked. Guess I'll have to wait until I get home 4 hours from now...unless, well, you know.

You guys will eat your words in a few years when you realize that Everything is actually really cool and the best surprise from the entire album. Who hear thought they would hear a song like this?!

What I like best about Everything is after Disappointed it like hits you in the face with its volume and ferocity. Not the greatest NIN song but it works.

Exactly. I hated The Collector and I'm Looking Forward To Joining You, Finally for the first few years after I heard them. They both grew on me, The Collector is one of my favourite WT songs, now.

You wouldn't happen to have something to do with a certain online petition, would you?

maybe this has been commented on, but does "running" give anyone else serious Atoms for Peace feelings? (not a bad thing)

Well that's not unheard of ; On my comp, The Downward Spiral essentially consists of Closer, and The Slip starts and ends with 999.999.

The first time I heard that, I thought, "Did he just say..." and I replayed it a few times.

I can definitely hear that. Thom Yorke and Trent Reznor come from very different musical backgrounds, but they both seem to be growing in a similar direction.

This album really cements TR's spot as a music legend, guys.

This has that "it" factor. It surprises me. It's rough, abrasive but contained.

It's freaking Nine Inch Nails in pure form.

I was a little worried NIN would sound like HTDA from now on...this is so left field.

yes, I thought this exactly. It actually sounds like what atoms for peace "tries" to be. (don't get me wrong I love the atoms for peace album) Trent does it better. Song is incredible.

Very...VERY tempted to download. I've only heard "Came Back Haunted," "Copy of A," and "Everything," so far. And, I've been telling myself this whole time I'd wait till September 3rd (even if the CD doesn't arrive by then, I'd still probably have the nin.com download link).

But tomorrow's my birthday. Maybe, just maybe...*NIN-listening purgatory ensues*

    Okay, tracks, whatever...

I just really don't like the song. You can call me what you want. If I don't like a song I don't keep it. That's all. Does that make me a bad person? If it does, well, maybe I'm a bad person.

The album is still great. I just don't like ONE song.

As a fan, the most hardcore you get, the most rigid of a dick you tend to get, so...
I've been called a "not a real fan" a few times about other bands, as if it rendered my opinion baseless and pointless. Well all right, fuck you, "fans", then.
    Let's not go there.
