I'm thinking this will be released early/mid may with any luck. I actually had a nightmare that the album was released and I didn't like it. Obsessing way too much I think. Minecraft Xbox360 is out early May so I'm just gonna focus on that then get hyped for the album when theres a concrete date. Saying that, if any of them mention it on Twitter (regardless how small and trivial the tweet is) I'll once again be foaming at the mouth.

Jesus, I think you're right FernandoDante. I need to get out more..

They must be waiting until December 21st.

The thing that surprises me isn't that the album hasn't been released yet, but that there has been no promotion whatsoever.

Yeah, same here. We're talking about a full-length album here, their first. I'd be expecting a several-month hype blitz if this was a new NIN LP, maybe we still have a long wait ahead of us?

Wild idea here. REMIX album is released first, followed by the true album 1 month later.

REMIX album is entitled A Prelude To Infidel Hearts and features Dave Sitek, Chromatics, John Talabot, Tom Morello and a contribution from Feist.

Mariqueen already said Infidel Hearts wasn't the album name, didn't she?
Also, why would you release remixes first.
    Also, go away, you're silly.

maybe it'll be a three disc triple package; HTDA's "Infidel Hearts" along with NIN's long awaited "Impossible Pain" with the tapeworm album as a bonus. THAT'S why it's taking so long.

If the NIN album isn't Strobelight, I'm not interested.

For some reason, I really expected to load the computer up today and find the new HTDA album available to download. Nevermind, always tomorrow.

March of the Pigs was a single though - an album of remixes (the comparative being FDTS) being released first would just be weird imo.
And I wasn't being serious with the go away, sorry for encroaching :P

Infidel Hearts - where's that come from, or is that a wind-up?

As I have not bought up discographies of any other band, is having remixes on a single a normal thing? And not just remixes of that single song?

Usually it's just remixes of the single itself. Or I'm just missing out on a new trend.

Also, Infidel Hearts was confirmed NOT to be the album title on (I believe) Q's Twitter. Sounds cool, though.

I have a few singles with other remixes from the album on (far more common in RnB and Hip Hop in my experience), it's not unheard of, but these days singles rarely have anything on but the track itself and some awful amateur remix.

Maybe the CD got stuck in the car while they were driving through Mullholland.

And it was the only copy.

You know, I really should just stop looking at the HDTA forum until I see the post count on the main page to change from 5 to 6.

so, all we know for sure is that it is finished and Trent has blasted it outta his boombox [or perhaps his car] whilst down Mullholland? or is there more

Either it's finished or Trent is such an incessant audiophile that he had to test the audio at 88mph to see how it sounds when affected by a nearby flux capacitator,
