I gotcha. But if you look at Money Shot...that is one hell of a dark record. You can't get more honest than Smoke And Mirrors. He is still open and honest, just a little more disguised.

I think this book will a very cool read and will somehow be a nice blend of humor and serious.

Even in Blood Into Wine, he was able to have some serious moments and step away from the jokes. The humor is just his protective shield and I admire it.

It's not an autobiography, FYI, so the "personal" thing should be toned down a bit.

True, but...he did help and was heavily involved with with it. Technically the Miles Davis is but isn't and autobiography but it is...but isn't.

*cough* did you know the entire Rock am Ring performance was webcast? Bet you could find a copy for a dime, if you know what I mean.

What if we don't have any dimes because we aren't signed up. Would you happen to have it?

I don't, actually. Traveling and unable to actually torrent at the moment. Thankfully the kind soul above us has found alternate means (I didn't even look there because I had assumed that it would be pulled almost immediately. Shocked that it's still up.)

Hope the show is on YouTube in some format tomorrow still so I can stream it on the app on my Xbox One so I can watch it on my HDTV. I skimmed through it. Pretty awesome.

Good to have this as the festival got called off due to severe storm and the sister-festival Rock im Park rarely gets broadcasted. More than 80 people were hit by lightning after Puscifer's set apparently...

    Puscifer

Such a great show. Wish we'd gotten Agostina, though. I'd LOVE a good copy of it live. Carina's vocals totally make it.

    Edit: Beggars, choosers, though.

Also, this. Mostly (if not the same) setlist.

Puscifer just does not work in a festival setting. The intimacy of their theater shows is what makes a Puscifer show a Puscifer show.

Gotta agree. They've done a decent job paring down the set list to songs that will work best but it doesn't work nearly as well when most of the crowd is just standing around screaming and shouting. Even in an online video, that feeling is palpable.

I think if they went to straight heavy songs and ditched the theatrical elements in place of a straight up rock show, it would probably work. But the format of this and previous tours really is best suited for smaller venues with a crowd that's there just to see them.

It will be on the website after it airs, I don't really think it needs to be recorded.

Whoops. Is it a possible performance? Or is that mostly just talk?

No, they did a whole performance when they were in the UK. I assume an interview will also be released along with the performance.

Yeah, I just worry Maynard will pull some bullshit move like APC did with their acoustic performances.

The show has been on for about an hour so far. I don't believe any Puscifer has been on yet. You can stream it here, or even start from the beginning of the show if you want to check for anything I missed.

I'm pretty sure the performance video will be on the site to watch anytime, but I think I might also record the audio and make an album of their performance. We don't have enough proshot Puscifer albums. If anybody wants a copy, let me know.

According to Daniel P Carter, the session wasn't recorded. So it'll be audio only. =/
