Oh god. He's turning into Rob Zombie...
Especially with that cover...
Also do why does Sasha grey get to have anything to do with anything? is it because she was a porn star?
She's been making music for quite some time, 10+ years now.
Let's get back on topic now that the shit posting is done.
That's The Way (I Like It) is available for pre-order here. https://pigindustries.bandcamp.com/a...-way-i-like-it
I'm going to see him in Toronto at the end of Sept. Third year in a row

I forgot this wasn't Sasha's first encounter with PIG... on one of the old forums, someone mentioned this porn shoot with a guy wearing a PIG shirt.

Her name is influenced by Sascha K as well. She's no stranger to the genre at all.
why the hell are people weirded out that a porn star might work on Gothy rivet dance industrial? Is there some preconception that anyone who fucks cannot be a musician? This is a weird angle...
Regardless of who's done what, where and when... that song is TERRIBLE.
Just... No. His track record since he "came back" was great up until this.
Let me be clear. I've been a gigantic PIG fan for 20+ years; and I could care less if someone was a porn star.
My point is, it is my opinion, (We're still allowed to have those right?) that the woman isnt a talented musician.
Which led me to question exactly "Why is she allowed to be involved with this artist?" It's clearly not because she has some astounding musical ability. So what else is she known for? PIG is all very tongue in cheek about filth and debauchery. If thats why shes involved, then that would be an answer I would be satisfied with.
But if the answer is, "Because shes really good dude" Then I call Bullshit.
Also this is not what I would call Gothy, Rivet, Dance OR Industrial. FWIW. Its cheese ball rock and roll with a drum machine. And theres about zero things interesting going on here. Thus my Rob Zombie comment.
I felt the same way when White Zombie started putting out shit like "I'm your boogie man"
This isnt a shit post either. This is how I feel about a song by an artist I have a deep connection with. Also, did you just accuse me of Misogyny? Have you actually listened to a PIG song? I'm the misogynist? K.

Anyone have an extra ticket for the SF show that happens next tuesday?
Yes, I did call you a misogynist.
You asked why she was doing "anything." Not music, not PIG projects, but "anything". And then you subtlety mocked her former job in porn as being a qualification for anything. Yes, you're a misogynist.
Oh and fuck off with your whataboutisms.

k buddy.
Did the VIP thing last night in Los Angeles....cool little bag of goodies
Watts' pop band The Hit Parade that he's played bass for since 84 has released so much shit over the years that I wasn't even aware of. They're apparently releasing something next year too. He did vocals on one track from their 2014 album, but it's a vinyl exclusive.

Do the vinyl come with download cards?
Do they happen to have that really nice 2LP Armalyte vinyl for sale on the tour?
It's weird that Sasha Grey sang in that faux-husky voice for the PIG cover – sounded weird and grating.
If that put you off (understandable), I'd recommend checking out her stuff with Death in Vegas (which I love) where she does a sexy, quasi-spoken word thing on a bunch of songs. One of the tracks was featured in the new Mission: Impossible to great effect. I hope her and Richard Fearless keep making music: minimal analog synths and sexy vocals never fail.
As for her and Raymond, they need to make up for the cover (with an original preferably), because they're both capable of more.
