Did anyone go and see Silent Hill Revelations??? Is it any good???

I really enjoyed the first one, so I'm hoping for good things out of the second one.

7% on Rotten Tomatoes last time I checked, but with these kinds of movies I know I will enjoy them regardless of score. Silent Hill was one of my favorite video games in the days of the PS1.

I saw it. It's the biggest pile of shit ever. Seriously; you guys never see me talk shit about a movie but this one... it's horrible.

Mind you I've never played the video games but I know a bit about them because really, you cannot be a "true fan" of the horror genre without having at least heard about Pyramid Head.

The acting is decent, the 3D effects are great and the sets are amazing. But the plot... it's like a really really really bad fanfiction. With the first movie (which I love, by the way) the writers created a universe complex enough that left a lot of possibilities for the sequel but it's like they threw most of the movie canon away and decided to do they own thing. And none of it make sense whatsoever. It's the same kind of mess that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. Paranormal Activity 4 is Citizen Kane in comparison.

Do yourself a favor and go see Sinister instead. It's the true gem of this year's Halloween season.

If the feel and environment and Arnold's body acting is still present, then my head will explode. I hope they dont treat this like every other Arnold movie ( even though I love just about all of them.)

The first movie is my favorite movie of all time, so I am really hoping this is the proper sequel that it deserved. I also hope he buffs up for this role, I dont care how he gets there, just buff the fuck up.

New promo video for Stoker. Damn this looks good. I know this guy directed Oldboy, which I haven't seen yet but what else of note has he done?

He was good in Haywire (yet to see Magic Mike, but I'll take people's word for it that it's good lol) so I suspect Sodebergh is the guy that can use him right (I also liked him in the under-appreciated Guide To Recognizing Your Saints).

Rust And Bone. This looks astounding. This trailer alone almost made me cry the first time seeing it.

One of my favourite comic book series the John Constantine Hellblazer series may be getting a new movie. Its looking likely. Its all vague at moment but with the current series of comics coming to an end next year, rumblings at Warners suggest its starting to look likely a greenlight will go off soon.

Apparently its going to be truer to the original comic book series. ...as in he will be good looking Blonde and English chronic Chain smoker, Alcoholic, Kevin McKidd was rumoured to be attached. But i think they need someone younger, I know the Keanu Reeves one was only loosely based on it, but it will be good to see another version.

I hope they dont fuck it up like Leauge of Extraordinary Gentlemen and V for Vendetta and Watchmen.

I too enjoy it, but fully acknowledge that decision as a guilty pleasure. It's pretty shitty.

First, we get the Assassin's Creed movie with Michael Fassbender being fast tracked, and now apparently Splinter Cell as well, and Tom Hardy looks to be our Sam Fisher.

Oh man I hope that's true. Splinter Cell is my all time favorite game series, and... ya know, Tom Hardy...

How did I go a whole year not knowing that Hardy was going to be playing Max in "Mad Max: Fury Road"...?!

Patton Oswalt recently gave an interview where he discussed how batshit crazy Wesley Snipes was during the filming of 'Blade: Trinity'.

    It makes for good reading.

Ellen Barkin rocks. I had never read any of Ellis' films though I did see his film adaptations and American Psycho is still the best of those adaptations.
