Speaking of maxnormal, the maxnormal.tv album "Goodmorning South Africa" is, IMO, better than either of the DA albums. Its Ninja, Yolandi and Jack Parrow throught the whole thing, and, is basically $o$ v0.5, a prototype Antwoord album. Standout tracks include Ons Is Heir and Dangerous to Love. The latter, really shows their songwriting ability and I wish they did more songs like that.

Since im on a roll here, Ive also got to say that Ninja's "penis" mic is one of the most brilliant things I have ever seen in my life. How many times have you seen the singer from X or Y band swinging their microphone around, pretending its their cock? Absoultely ZERO room for interpitation there folks!

LOVE the new album... It retains a lot of their character that we are used to but you can also sense they have branched off in a slightly different direction with songs like Strunk.

So Exclaim (Canadian music site) does the interview, Ninja says it's ending in a year, they deny it the next day saying it was taken out of context, so Exclaim responds by posting full transcript of the entire interview and it sure sounds like he said what they said he did. As far as getting cancelled, they've always been abrasive, so I'm not sure what standards people are holding them to. I haven't delved too deep into the incident, but it basically seems like there are two very different sides to the story. I guess someone filmed Ninja at his most incensed during the incident as he was screaming slurs at a dude that supposedly was cornering Yolandi and being a dickhead to both of them.

I saw that they are dropping festival dates, and they seem to have removed any mention of this fall tour from their website. The date I have the tickets for is NYC on 10/3. Tickets seem to be sold out on ticketmaster and only available through resale at the moment. I actually have a second ticket that might be up for grabs as I cant convince any of my friends to go with me. . .
