So I got my latest NIN shirt in the mail today and it reminded me of just how much NIN shit I have (clothing wise). I know I don't have nearly as much as you all do *cough*brandon*cough* so let's share!

Might as well start off one of the many general catch all NIN threads.

To kick it off, here's the shirt I got today...small ladies out there, unless you like wearing a sack, do not buy even a men's small from BandMerch. I am sorely disappointed:

I managed to snag a brand new With_Teeth tour sweatshirt from ebay about a month ago for $25. Being up in the PNW, I find myself wearing sweatshirts more often and my old one was turning grey rather than being black.

I really love the redesigned Eraser shirt, I didn't expect the Now I'm Nothing hoodie to be that thin material. I'm waiting for them to put those buttoned and collared shirts i think JMJ was wearing on the last tour up, I would love one (or 3) of those.

The three shirts that I did get from BandMerch (all ladies size M, my usual NIN merch size) don't fit any better though. The fixed vest looks like a dress for a skinny 8 year old, and the purple and red shirts are fit for an obese midget. Weird, because all my other NIN shirts fit like a dream.

I remember the cut of the old red With Teeth shirt being pretty bizarre (something about my shoulders/chest was just not compatible with it at all). Were the purple/red Bandmerch shirts a bit like that?

If it helps anyone: I found the small Now I'm Nothing shirt to be pretty comparable in size to the small NIN 2009 hoodie.

Do you guys wear your NIN gear or "archive" them? I wear my Echoplex hoodie and Wave Goodbye tour T-shirts all the time. I may need to pick up another one or the Now I'm Nothing hoodie since my current one is starting to fade a bit.

I wear some and don't wear others. The Canadian ones are too small for me. I'll display them in T-shirt display wall frames. "Broken, Bruised, Forgotten, Sore" and "Private Dress Rehearsal" will be framed as well. Used shirts and cheaper shirts, or shirts that are always on e-bay are the only ones I wear. I also only go after the officially licensed clothes, as some of the unlicensed shirts are cheaply made.

i find that the newer t-shirts that they've sold at concerts are not as good as the ones they used to sell.
the newer ones, like some have mentioned here, are the thin material which after a couple of washes, tend to shrink. I have a few size Large and they look like Mediums or Small now.

The older ones that I have from previous tours are the thicker t-shirt material, which I prefer and don't tend to shrink.

As far as wearing them, I almost never wear any of my NIN t-shirts anymore. I like to preserve them. Occasionally, I'll put one on.

Back on the Fragility v.2 tour, I affixed a NIN logo sticker to my car in the parking lot of the movie theater before that night's show in Raleigh, NC. It held up fairly well over the years, but it's time to put it down and end the misery. Plus, I traded this car in for a new one.

I've purchased a number of stickers from recent tours, but damned if I can find where I put them. So, I don't see any NIN decals on the merch site and I'm curious if anyone has any leads for the standard black on white logo (or even the white on black).

I went to that show in Raleigh! My first Nails show, I was a senior in high school at the time. Awesome, awesome show. I was quite excited when I found a recording of it.

I'll never forget, Ticketmaster fucked up and opened up sales a couple hours early and I scored some seats in like the third row, dead center. Dream come true.

there are some nice pieces of apparel on display here. I wouldn't mind having a 'now i'm nothing' original tee and one of the eraser shirts. Anywho, I only have one nin shirt and i will always love it more than any other: The Fragile Album Back shirt (with the scenery of flowers from the back of 'The Fragile' album 'screened on the front with the words/name 'Nine Inch Nails' below it and the single flower on the back of the tee with 'The Fragile' placed across the lower part of the image). Maybe i'll take a pic later today and share it here.

I also really like a lot of The Fragile era shirts too. I have the white Fragile era shirt with the flower on the first and on the back it says Fragility 2000. I had a gray AATCHB shirt too that said "And All That Could Have Been Halo Seventeen Still" on the back but I have no idea what happened to it :(

The past few times this shirt has been on eBay it hasn't sold for much. Which is surprising because I remember seeing it go for $40+ years back. Same goes for the black The Fragile shirt with the flowers on it (I got the same shirt for only $15 about 2 months ago).

I recently made a pillow out of a couple of my old shirts (With Teeth live grey tour date shirt, and the "Art is Resistance" shirt), and now all I've got is my white long sleeve WG shirt. I normally love long sleeve tshirts, but I hate the wrist cuffs on these newer shirts. Is there an elastic shortage in the world or some shit? Does anyone know if the With Teeth long sleeve on their website currently has elastic cuffs or are they the same as the shirts from recent years?

Edit: Do baby shirts count, as well? I bought a onezie for my daughter at the Chicago stop on the NINJA tour, and she rocked it for months. Now I'm saving it for my soon to be here son.

My friend bought me a Spiral bundle on eBay for my birthday and it just arrived today, and I'm a little curious about the shirt included. The seller indicated that it was a fan club exclusive shirt, but looking at it, I'm not so sure of its authenticity.

Yes, the [WITH_TEETH] is actually backwards on the shirt. That's what has me worried.

The package also came with a set of eight buttons depicting album art and related art from the pre-WT era, as well as a membership card and, of course, the With Teeth poster (which was what I wanted).

So, can anyone tell me if this is a legit Spiral package, or something hacked together by a douchebag trying to make money off of unsuspecting fans that aren't well-versed in NIN merch?

The weird thing is that the text connects at the W, but it matches up with the front, which isn't reversed. The lines cascade over the shoulder and they connect just fine.

The Spiral card at least looks legit.

Now, I found this auction which says the shirt is "Licensed" and comes from the Tour / Concerts. However the auction doesn't mention any fan club info.

You're welcome, I would suggest putting a question in to the Random NIN Questions thread and asking some of the older members if they remember what the Spiral packages were like during the late The Fragile / early WT era. They might be able to help you out on confirming if everything else in the package is correct.

The shirt wasn't a Spiral member shirt, but it may have been one of the Spiral member exclusive store shirts, I know there was a grey one with the WT era logo on the front and http://eil.com/Gallery/375628b.jpg that on the back (Hot Topic later released the same shirt in green). There was also the summer glitched war imagery style one with Nine Inch Nails written in the silhouette of an explosion, upside-down. I think maybe 1-2 other shirts, which this may have been one of.

The WT lyrics poster was in the first year Spiral package, as was that card.

As for the buttons, I didn't get buttons either year, but since I didn't get premium the first year, it's possible they came with premium members' packages? As far as I knew the only package difference was the Spiral logo shirt.
If you can upload a pic of the buttons, I can tell you if they're legit though, because I think I know what button set you're talking about, and I think they were available at a merch booth.

(I also am a big collector of NIN shirts and random merch like that)

Edit: well shit, didn't look at your post in random NIN questions. That's the same button set I have, and I'm 95% sure I got them at a show. So they're legit, but I don't think they were part of a spiral member set.
