I am curious to see what sort of videos you guys have thrown together with NIN music backing them. If the video is simply of you covering NIN that thread already exists (and spawned this one): http://www.echoingthesound.org/community/threads/370-ETS-covers-NIN

To start things off.... here is something stupid I threw together for a competition where we had to make a video explaining why we "deserved a blu-ray player." I only had a cell phone camera, whatever was laying around the house, 15min of time to get the footage, iMovie, and virtually no creative capacity or experience with this... so don't kill me over it!

I made this with my girlfriend when we were in high school. I got my custom macro lenses out and shot random plants and scenery while going to my grandma's. :) It'll always remind me of that period in my life, I loved it.

What I like the most is how the frames manage to fit the music, the tempo.. (oh, and that's because I just thrown the clips in there and saved it. No editing done whatsoever) Plus, it has that desaturated and dirty look.

MAD, I swear, you create gold whenever you touch that macro lens. I was already jealous of your photography. What camera and macro lens do you use? Was this the same combo you used for your photos you took around the AVOTT project?

Yep. I've been using the same camera and the same lenses since... 2008(?) The lenses are from several watchmakers lenses.

Back in 2007 I co-directed/wrote a short film that used Ghosts tracks for the score. The movie wasn't great, but it was an okay effort on our part. Check it out here: http://vimeo.com/6532721

13 year old son of a friend of ours killed himself last year. We had a fairly close WOW guild so for those who couldn't get to the funeral we held an online service for him. I recorded it and made my own mix of Ghosts 1 and 13 and used that for the video. Uploaded the mix to remix.nin.com too. In fact I should see if anyone has downloaded it.

Won't post the link as it's just game footage and not very interesting to anyone who didn't know him.

Edit: Blimey! 86% rating!
