Hi.

As some of you long standing members may remember, I've tried a couple of times to do a streaming show thread, but the difficulty with that was that I was not scheduling them and just doing them whenever I felt like it.

That's changed.

Starting last October, I finally set myself up a weekly show that I can stick to...

Tuesday evenings at 18:30 local time (20:30 east coast, 17:30 west coast) I choose two albums and play them fully with some other tracks to add some flavour. Sometimes they compliment the albums, sometimes they don't.

So since this is a regular thing now, I figured I'd start another thread.

Tonights show features "Greetings From Timbuk 3" by Timbuk 3 and "I'm Lost In The City" by John Angaiak.

Show archives are available if you can't listen live.

Hope you'll join us.

I always start the show proper with the Chicago '82 live performance of "Same Old Madness" by Ministry and always end with "Nighty Night" by Alivno Ray and his Orchestra (Yvonne King and Ensemble, vocal).

This week we have "Rock Art and the X-Ray Style" by Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros (2012 remastered vinyl) and "Warzone" by The Missing Brazilians (2015 remastered vinyl)... plus the starter/intermission/ending tracks for variety.

If you don't know how to tune in and listen; just let me know and we get it sorted out.

For the January shows (starting Dec. 31st, for reasons that will be apparent in a moment), I'll be pairing my Top Ten album pick ups for 2019 (not albums released in 2019, just acquired -- but 10 albums requires 5 weeks and thus Dec. 31st we start) and for the intro/intermission/ending tracks, can be listener requests sourced from my Discogs collection (https://www.discogs.com/user/e.vondran/collection). Sure, you might not be listening but if you want you can participate. I'm looking for approximately 45 songs and anything in there is fair game... if I've got it, I'll play it.

Feel free to DM me here or on Twitter via @DerbyBeardo.

A bit of an antidote to last weeks show...

Next week will be two shows, Monday and Tuesday... and since Monday is an unusual day, may as post it early.

Got myself sick over the weekend so there'll be no show tonight...

...unless you really want to listen, then I'll make arrangements.

No show again tonight, I'm still ill.

Feel better! long time to be sick!

Still no show tonight, this illness is just lingering and bringing me down.

But now I have Haribo Goldbären... that should heal me completely, right?

Not healed yet (but getting better, I swear... don't put me on the cart!), and since I didn't even post a no-show yesterday I think it's fair to say that Kawphy Radio is kaput for the time being.

That being said, if you want streaming tunes, lemme know here and if I can, I will.

Just any momentum I had with this has really diminished over this past month and I can't predict when I might be able to do it regularly again.

Decided to stream today for like 9-10 hours...

Selected favourite tracks from the Back To Mine series (excluding the most recent one, don't have it yet) and a few other surprises thrown in.

(aaaand we're done for today)
