Are you in the Boston area? You should totally join me in doing this: http://8bitcomposition.eventbrite.com/

I've been wanting to get into chiptune composition for awhile, and this will finally force me to work on a real project. Maybe an 8-bit version of Please that we can put on obnoxious loop for the ETS landing page ;)

That's pretty awesome. I wish there were things like that around here. Let us know how it goes/post some samples when you're done.

I did. It ended up being 5 sessions and 5 people (including me) signed up. It was neat, but mostly gave me an excuse and motivation to learn LSDj and listen to more chiptune. I did a cover of Still Alive that I'm proud of, as well as some noodling around to explore what you can do. I also have groundwork on Please and Only, which I need to finish.
