Already got my ticket request in and booked a flight.

This is a wonderful gift because I was looking for two more shows to get to so that my total could be 20 by the end of the tour, but nothing looked like it would work out very well. Then a fellow fan sent me a beautiful message this morning!

See y'all in Vegas... Again.

Man oh man, this is tempting. I flew down for the Vegas show last year and while it's 300 dollars I'd have been smarter not spending, the show I just saw in Phoenix was so good it's really tempting... What I wouldn't give for a PNW date, just literally anywhere driving distance. Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, even Spokane would be manageable.

I know. Enough of these Vegas and California dates already. Give us 2 nights in Seattle or Vancouver or anything in Canada for that matter! I don't get the reasoning behind 6 shows in LA and another 2 shows in Vegas when Vegas already had shows a couple months ago. *sigh*

I'm not sure I can swing these, but I want to. Very badly. I might have to attend a wedding that weekend, that's what's holding me back. Urgh... wish we'd just have some Canadian dates already.

The absence of Toronto is oddly concerning.
Guess Canada doesn't deserve the "good songs" we just get the garbage "singles collection" shows up here.

What the hell, I was considering looking for Chicago or Boston tickets on the secondhand market after that Phoenix set and what with the long wait until the LA final stretch. Put in my VIP request with Emily as soon as she emailed, not waiting in line for GA multiple nights again, time to do it right. See you pigs in Vegas!

Haha, I feel ya! Ticket purchasing is so nerve wracking. I'm so glad The Joint has a separate VIP sales thing. I have morning work meetings that keep me away from a computer during most presales. :( I just checked right now to see what I can pull up and lower balcony is almost all gone for both.

Well it turns out it's cheaper to fly to Las Vegas from Calgary, Alberta Canada than it is to fly to Toronto (if there was a NIN Canadian date) so, I'M GOING TO BOTH NIGHTS IN LAS VEGAS!!!!! Got both nights with the presale, booked Thursday-Monday with Aircanada Vacations flight and hotel at the Hard Rock for 2 people was $1025 Canadian! Let's just hope the setlists are still as amazing as the first 3 shows!

Here’s from the JointVIP email:
A VIP GA Floor Ticket starts at $165 and includes: (Main Floor - Standing Room Only Ticket)
- 1 general admission ticket on the main floor – standing room only
- 1 custom VIP Credential keepsake
- A line pass
- 1 complimentary drink voucher (no champagne!)

A VIP GA Floor ‘line pass’ will get you into the venue in front of the General Admission ticket line, as long as you arrive by the time doors open to the venue. If you arrive after doors open, you will still avoid the line – however the GA line will have already entered thevenue with access to the standing area on the main floor. There is no roped off VIP area on the main floor for VIP guests. There may be some band FanClub members or Agent / Promoter Executives who will have earlier access. The VIP ticket only guarantees early entry before GA guests.

As for rooms, check under the hard rock’s deals page and click around to find something good. Looks like a Paradise King is $65/night right now for that weekend.

There’s a 40% promo for CA residents and I booked the hotel room before I got the tickets. They’re $69/$74 a night now, so +$6.5/night in 2 days.

Doesnt include tax and $33/night resort fee. But no parking fee so I guess there’s that.

Woot! Woot! Fellow Canadian flying down. I'll see ya there, neighbor. I looked at Air Canada vacations based on your recommendation, and I haven't found anything that good. There is a deal that is similar to the one you mentioned, but I checked the flight details and the trip home is at 7:45am, hahaha. Totally out of the question, not gonna take that flight. Plus, I checked from Wed-Sun and Thurs-Sun, we need to be back Sunday night at the latest, Won't be able to take Monday off as well.

Are you staying at Hard rock, or was your package for a different hotel?

Either way, I got tickets secured for both nights. Just monitoring flight prices now.

Yay I was hoping you'd make it down for this show, I read your posts all the time! I picked the Hard Rock as my hotel - the venue is off the strip so I thought staying there would be a good idea - I was told by a friend to book a regular room and then when you get there you can upgrade for $20 a night if you want, cheaper than booking a fancier room. You can change the flight time on Air Canada Vacations and some of the flights will change the price, some will stay the same - same with Westjet. Expedia had some similar deals with other airlines, good luck!

Edit: I just noticed prices have gone up a couple hundred today, hopefully they come back down again for you - might be too many rooms being booked at the Hard Rock.

It's important if you would like to get there early and be on the rail. Last time, I heard there were 50 VIP GAs, so if you are fine not being one of the first 50 people in the door, then there's no point to it.

Was that only for the presale or is that the regular rate? Their site appears to be incapable of doing online booking and I don't want to call just yet.

How long after the on sale time do they typically respond with the confirmation emails for VIP ticket purchases? I'm traveling out of country at the moment and nervous that my card might get flagged for a $600+ purchase back in the states and then I lose the tickets.

I wasn't at the shows in June, but I seem to recall reading on here that someone said the hotel/venue staff wouldn't allow anyone to lineup early.
Where did everyone form the line in this case? Can someone clarify what they meant by no early lineups if people lined up early anyway?

We lined up all three days on the north side of the venue, past the Pink Taco and Dukin Donuts. It stayed orderly and security didn’t hassle us at all. In fact, they were quite happy that we took care of organizing ourselves and being respectful while waiting.

Yeah, I'm kind of jealous/disappointed of this "VIP" option as well that I didn't know of. But to be fair, the price is quite steep. I'll take my chances in the regular line. Even if not rail, 2nd row behind rail is still decent. It's nice to have that rail to lean on durin the show though.

I hope Vegas doesn't get a "singles special" it not having a "physical world" presale. He wouldn't do that... right... right!? We're gonna get the special songs too?

Guess we'll see how the festival setlists look like next week.

I'm hoping with NIN already playing 3 shows at The Joint last June that they will look at those setlists and make sure these new dates at the same venue will have a bunch of the new special songs they'e been playing. Did you get your hotel and flight yet? Westjet and Aircanada prices both went up yesterday after the public tickets went on sale. My $1025 flight and hotel package is now $1250!

No, I haven't booked anything yet. I've been monitoring the prices of al va carte VS packaged deal, and they are very comparable. The thing with me is, I can't do a morning flight, so the Air Canada pre-packaged deals all have you catching a flight at 7:45am on Sunday! hahahaha. Yeah right! Sunday after the show. That's hilarious. Once you start "modifying" the flights to your needs, the prices are no different than if you buy the flights and hotels separately.

I have all the prices on a paper from checking 2 days ago, checked again today, they are the same still for me. There is a WestJet bundle that is just under $1000, but they make you take the stupidest flights ever... Fly to Calgary first and transfer? No thanks.

I also compared 3 days VS 4 days. Going out on the Wed VS the Thursday. Surprisingly enough, doing an extra day is cheaper if you pick the flight and hotel separately for 4 days, but if you do the 3 day, it's cheaper bundled. So there are many factors to consider. Are we going to stay at the hard rock, or go for a cheaper hotel that's close. It would be convenient to roll out of bed, walk downstairs and be in the line already for the show, lol.

I saw the shows at the joint in 2013 before. I stayed at the Hard rock then, so I know the setup. Also, beats walking outside for 30 mins in the cold. I was surprised that Vegas highs in December are only +14 and the lows are +3... That's like Vancouver weather, I didn't realize Vegas was that cold. I remember when I went in 2013, it was mid November. It wasn't killer warm, but it was maybe +18-20 during the day and +9 at night. You definitely needed a sweater at night. Nobody was using the pool though. I remember walking on the strip and some lady that was holding a sign trying to get people to go into something called us out from being from Canada. I was like "How the hell did you know?" and she was like "The locals wouldn't be caught dead in shorts this time of the year, this is our winter" lol.

I mean, it wasn't THAT cold, but there were people in full blown winter parkas walking around.

But yeah, back to packages... I'm gonna wait a bit. Air Canada always has seat sales this time of the year. They just had one last week before the show was announced.
I remember looking at prices of flights to Vegas and they were like $250-290 and now they shot up to $380-480. I bet they'll have a "fall sale" or a "thanksgiving sale" in the next couple weeks. Just gonna keep monitoring the prices.

I got an email back from Emily. She said that she is off this weekend, but will be back tomorrow. That we will get confirmation sometime "this week".

Weird that it is being handled so different from last time, but thankful to have heard back! I was getting pretty nervous.

After the tickets are settled, I am going to reach out to her to see if there is anything that we can do about the merch situation, because it sucked hard in June. :(

Fucking yes. I wasn’t going to give up my spot on the rail to grab merch. I wish we had some earlier access to it and when I brought it up to her on the 13th she said there was nothing she could do about that.

Sarah K

It seems like when we go in to pick up our tickets, we should just be able to visit the merch booth at that time. Last October we could get merch before we went in, so not sure what changed between October and June!

Did you get your hotel and flight yet? Westjet and Aircanada prices both went up yesterday after the public tickets went on sale. My $1025 flight and hotel package is now $1250!

My tickets came in the mail yesterday.

I just booked my package right now. After much back and forth all week, I decided to go with Air Canada vacations after all. It was between a WestJet package for $948.92 or the AC one for $1105.14. I actually ended up going for the more expensive one because the flights were better. While the WJ price was appealing, the leaving flight went to Calgary first and the returning flight wasn't until 9pm and arrived back in Vancouver at 12:30am, normally I wouldn't care if I arrived home late, but my girlfriend works early Monday and the trains in Vancouver stop running at midnight on Sunday, so we would have had to take a $100 cab ride home. Figured the money We would have wasted on a cab could be put towards better flights.

We leave Wed Nov 28th at 7pm and will arrive in Vegas at 10pm. Staying at the hard rock as well.

You'll be fine. It's a small VIP batch and the rail is pretty huge -- you'll be a little off to the side but it's all decent and at worst you'll be second row as long as you've gotten in line early enough. A lot of people will be at merch so if you can forego that, you're almost guaranteed a good spot.

Merch VS rail is always a dilemma. Thankfully there are 2 shows. I'm thinking rail for show 1 and then collect merch and just "hang around" in the middle for show 2. I'm not really a poster collector, so I'm not too worried about getting those, depends on the designs I guess. I have more posters rolled up in a tube than I know what to do with.

what are the odds of ticket prices dropping on the after market for this? Thinking about buying borh nights and if I can’t go, Ill just sell them for face that is unless theyre cheaper on stubhub etc, rather not take a loss.

I mean as long as there is a good area/view to stand without having to enter a royal rumble thats fine.

Though since Las Vegas is some what a tourist city, wouldn’t that attract a lot more of a casual rude crowd?

It's definitely one of those places you need to visit once, but this will be my 3rd time going... all because of Mr. TR himself. First time I went to Vegas was for wave goodbye in 2009. 2nd time was the double hitter tension shows that were playing in a small club as opposed to a giant arena. 3rd time? TR's got me by the balls again. Swore I would never go to Vegas ever again, and here I am... going again lol. I'm not a gambler by any sense, so that aspect of the city does nothing for me.

The only reason I'm going this time is because I couldn't score multiple dates to the LA shows, and the Vegas was so damn easy to get.

That's another question for everyone, why does Vegas always seem to be the 1 show that is such a slow sell? Tickets never seem to sell out right away. Always takes a couple months, where as other markets will sell out in a couple days. To be able to sit on GA tickets for a show for a couple weeks up to a month is unheard of.

Well, Vegas as a city is pretty tiny when compared to places like Chicago and Los Angeles. That means the chances of a local fanbase are smaller and therefore it sells out slower. I think if we polled most of the people at these shows they will say they travelled to Vegas instead of being a local

Both shows are not currently sold out, and show no signs of selling out, so secondary market prices are only going to get cheaper every day, dropping precipitously in the week before the show.

If you haven't bought tickets yet, and are not sure if you're going or not, just don't buy them. It's really not going to sell out, so you can buy from Ticketmaster if you finally decide to go, or even get tickets last minute for way below face value on the secondary market.

To be able to sit on GA tickets for a show for a couple weeks up to a month is unheard of.

tension in a small venue sounds awesome

Are you a Nevada native or somewhere near?

and I am not a gambler either thus reluctance to visit LV and also a city where I don’t have to spend too many days whereas LA, I cant drop in and leave.

Were people generally friendly at the LV shows?

Both shows are not currently sold out, and show no signs of selling out, so secondary market prices are only going to get cheaper every day, dropping precipitously in the week before the show.

If you haven't bought tickets yet, and are not sure if you're going or not, just don't buy them. It's really not going to sell out, so you can buy from Ticketmaster if you finally decide to go, or even get tickets last minute for way below face value on the secondary market.

That puts things in perspective, did last year and this summer’s shows take a while to sell out?

and welp got a $150 ticket from a cop because its time to hit quotas for the month, there goes that momey i was hoping to save for NIN, ughhh

Luckily for you all of us fat people have vip so we'll already be up front. Hopefully no skinny people try to make their way up there with their boneyness and lack of cushion. Hot dogs for everybody!

Boney-ish person here. Can I hang with you guys and gals? I don't mosh. I just kind of politely bop around a little and occasionally let out a "holy fucking fuck" squeal if the right deep cut hits the set list. Otherwise, I'm quite unobtrusive. I don't even scream off key at the top of my lungs during Hurt.

I am actually from Canada. Vancouver, BC to be specific. But we rarely get NIN up here, so that's why I have to travel so much to see them, hence flying down to Vegas so many times. The whole Pacific Northwest (Vancouver/Seattle/Portland) area always tends to get the shaft, otherwise Vegas wouldn't be my first choice. I tried to go to LA, but those shows sold out too fast. After the Vegas shows got announced, I priced LA VS Vegas, and they were very similar in costs, Vegas was slightly cheaper do to the fact that I didn't have to buy the NIN tickets from scalpers and could just buy them straight from ticketmaster.com. Oddly enough, flights were more to Vegas than LA, but the prices of hotels made up for it in Vegas.

From what I recall, the Vegas crowds were pretty chill. Not crazy or violent by any means. People there are like the "have a drink in your hand and stand there and nod your head" kinda people. That's the vibe I got from the 2013 shows at least, could have changed I wasn't at the shows earlier this year. The 2009 show, I was against the front, so I don't recall the crowd too much for that one, but I know I have space around me to move, for being up at the front, so that was nice.

how’s security awful? Never had a problem with security ever, besides water bottles being brought in

If you don't like the "rumble", you won't notice it. Last time I was there, I was moshing in the pit. There was a security guard keeping an eye on things who appeared to take delight in shoving people really hard - to the point where it was obvious he was out to provoke rather than maintain the peace.

I'm not sure what this means, as I stopped looking at setlists for this month. Last setlist I saw was sometime in September. Been trying so hard to avoid any other spoilers from this tour, but with that said... up until about 15 mins ago I was doing amazing... and then I went to my YouTube subscriptions and I think some fuck just spoiled the biggest spoiler/surprise of the whole fucking tour... I was scrolling fast and glanced at it and screamed out super loud and tried to get it off my screen and then ran and unsubbed to the channel. I hope what I saw wasn't what I think I saw. I'm still going to try to hold out without looking til Vegas. There are only a few more shows left til Vegas.

The Joint lets you bring in your own poster tube right?

Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. In June they didn't. I assumed it had to do with merch selling the tubes themselves but I've been to some shows since and I've seen them make it in. At Radio City they let you bring them in as long as they weren't plastic.

The tubes are for sale at merch for $5. I'd just play it safe and buy one there. They're cheap in cost and you don't have to risk getting the one you're trying to bring in being taken away.

Nah Radio City was selective based on which security person you got it. I got some asshole woman who wouldn't let me in but others were walking right in that went through a different line. Maddening.

Based on what you said I will try my luck with my own tube then. I have a bunch of extras. If I don't get in with it, then I just replace it with the $5 one from merch.

Oh wow that sucks. There were poster scalpers there who security let bring in a duffle bag full of tubes so they could clean house. Absurd that they could get away with it and an actual fan wanting to buy a poster for themselves couldn't.

I wrote this elsewhere already but guy next to me at merch area bought EIGHT of the EMEK's. I wanted to spit in his face and wanted to scream at everyone working (Radio City & NIN staff) who dropped the ball on a poster limit for night one. At least they got it together for night two and the rest of the shows apparently.

Anyone else seen people purchasing posters en masse since the 10/13 Radio City? I haven't read anything on here about it.

Hahaha..I feel your pain. At the beginning of the tour, after seeing what *had* been the biggest spoiler pre-Chicago, I called the Chicago spoiler. Didn't know when it would happen, but I just looked at that setlist and went "well, if they're ever gonna play X, now's the time".

What stinks for me is that I know I'm going to leave the Vegas show feeling disappointed if I don't get some ultra-rare song. I'm still thrilled to be going. I'm still going to love the show no matter what, I'm sure. I just know that my stupid personality will leave me feeling a little bummed if I get my hopes up for some ultra-rare deep cut and I don't get one. I'm dumb like that.

Also, I looooove that they keep adding on a little more to the fake Fragile intro. Opening with SD. Then SD and TDTWWA. Then SD through Wretched. I feel like Trent's purposefully trolling the audiences by making it just a little longer as the tour goes on. And it's working, because now I really believe there's a not far-fetched chance that a full Fragile show could happen. I don't expect it to. But...........

Your friend is not as crazy as we once would have speculated. Especially with three nights there.

Now, maybe it's just the first time in a while that some older tracks like The Great Below are busted out. And of course, maybe they play left one night and right the next. And there's the entirely real possibility that I'm just talking out of my ass.

For those that missed out on VIP and need tickets, apparently there's a $130 option where you can get 1 GA ticket and a line skip pass. With the line skip, you would be bumped up to the front of the non-VIP GA folks so you'd get to go in after VIP folks.

There are airbnb close to Hard Rock that aren't too expensive. Otherwise I can give you a code for 30% off Hard Rock Hotel + no resort fees. It's a generic code that anyone can use over and over. Same goes for anyone else who sees this. I just don't want to post it in a public forum.

Why don't they tell you these things before tickets go on sale? I'm kind of miffed.

There goes my shot at rail now for sure.

That's the last time I rush and buy regular GA tickets for a Vegas show. The cherry on top of all of this is that regular GA is still available. Wow.
Totally ran into this blind. It really baffles me that Trent keeps going back to Vegas, it's clearly a slow sell. It's strange. I thought tickets were going to be eaten up the second they went on sale. Seems like ETS are the only people buying tickets.

There really should be an "upgrade" offer for people that already have regular tickets. I'd pay a "top-up" fee of $50 or something for a guaranteed spot at the rail.

I've heard that The Joint is one of their favorite places to play. They always do special things there. Hard Rock Las Vegas was purchased by Virgin Airlines a while back and the future of The Joint is unknown but I don't see a lot of events in the far future. They probably wanted one last run there before it's demise. All of the shows on this tour are special, these shows will be too.

Well I'll join you all for the Saturday show, I could only make it to the one show but here's to having a blast!!!! I only made it to the first show in June and it was killer, I couldn't miss what will probably be their last show ever at the Hard Rock since it will cease to exist soon.

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino was sold back in March, it will be a Virgin themed Hotel and Casino by the end of next year. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.reviewjournal.com/business/business-columns/real-estate-insider/new-hard-rock-hotel-owners-plan-to-overhaul-the-las-vegas-property/amp/&ved=2ahUKEwjhqsafmsveAhWlSt8KHXCpCG8QFjAAegQIBRAB&usg=AOvVaw12IgW0lwtoIAfVyPI90NxD&ampcf=1 https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.reviewjournal.com/business/casinos-gaming/new-ceo-talks-about-changes-coming-for-hard-rock-in-las-vegas/amp/ Renovations to start in April

I don't think anyone thinks that they will get rid of the venue. But it'll get rebranded, and these are probably the last ones there as The Joint.

Direct quote from an email with Emily about the line passes:

So I'll be going to both Vegas shows and but have been holding out on buying tickets. I've seen numerous references to emailing with Emily regarding the $130 line pass which I am contemplating for at least one of the shows. I'm not from the area and haven't been to The Joint before so I'm not sure who Emily is. Does she work with the venue? Could one of you let me know her contact information so I can reach out regarding the line pass?

I really appreciate it!!

I've given up on this "line-pass" thing. Not worth losing money on. Nobody seems to want regular GA tickets. Hard sell since the show isn't even close to selling out lol.
I'll just drink my sorrows away in the middle of the pack while the rest of you are going to rock out to the best NIN songs ever played live, front row.

If I could trade my front row spots for Bakersfield 2017, Lights in the sky 2008, tension 2013, and NIN/SG 2014 just for this, I would... guy doesn't change up his setlist for 10 years and then he throws in every single rare song at once. FFS.

Speaking of this, can anyone who's been to The Joint before chime in? How are prices once you're in The Joint? Is it still typical Vegas gouging or are they actually reasonable? Last time I was in Vegas 4 years ago, I ordered a double-tall Jack & Coke at the bar near the Cosmopolitan sportsbook and it was $22 for a 16oz cup filled to the brim with ice before any liquid was poured.

I was and still am pissed.

Bottled water is $8 inside The Joint. I typically stick to beer with an occasional drink, and don't remember the prices being *too* wild. But I also live in NYC, so I'm adjusted to inflated pricing.

For fuck's sake! They have quite the racket going with water in Vegas at large. And I assume you can't bring in outside alcohol?

EDIT: Trip Advisor confirms standard Vegas gouging. Review from 7/23/17 states $26 for a mixed drink.

$26 for a mixed drink? What kind of sorcery is that!? Glad I don't drink "hard" drinks. I generally stick to beer.

I remember I heard a rumor that if you sit and play the slot machines in Vegas, they'll come by and give you free drinks. The first time I went to Vegas, for NIN and Jane's addiction in 2009, I tested this out while waiting for the show. It didn't work. I sat there for maybe 2 hrs at the slot machine and they never acknowledged my existence.

You're probably better off just pre-drinking in your hotel. Or the lobby? Can you drink in the lobby/waiting area? I'm assuming you can. Get drunk while waiting in line to get in!

If you're gambling, you'll get free drinks but they usually only make rounds to the slots a few times because of people like you trying to game the system. :) At the craps tables, they come by every 15 minutes or so because if you're drunk, you're more likely to put more money on the table.

honestly you should just eat the price of your ticket and consider that the upgrade price. Anything you can sell the ticket for on the day of subsidizes your upgrade (and TBH it's probably going to be something like $20-$50. I've eaten NIN tickets damn near every time they play in Vegas).

I did this for the last time NIN played at the Joint and it helps ease the pain.

that's my concert drink too and you're looking at $25-$30 from the VIP servers.

Edibles are strong AF and take 1-2 hours to kick in. You can also get quite a bit of edibles for $30. Just sayin'

The $8 bottled water is also a smaller bottle (11 oz maybe). For those looking for beer on the cheap (after or before show), the CVS across the street has large 24oz PBRs for $1.69 (cheaper than a 24oz bottle of water at CVS). Prices are from June so could be different now.

There are signs in the Hard Rock when you check in for a room warning you that no outside food or drink is allowed in rooms, and if you have a cooler for medication it must be below some specified size. However, we did grab a late lunch nearby and eat it in the line in June. We kept water, etc. in a little backpack so it was not out. Also, there is a Dunkin Donuts a short walk outside from what I recall, which has cheaper coffee than the Dunkin Donuts inside the Hard Rock.

Play near a bar area that isn't too crowded. I get drinks about every 10-15 mins around the gambling area near the Midway bar (area across from Magic Mike theater) The area around Center Bar is really sucky for drink service. Don't forget to tip your waitresses!

I've stayed at hard rock hotel back in 2013 and left to do grocery shopping for the few days I was there. Every time I go away, that's what I do to save on food. Hotels "claim" there is a no outside food/drink policy, but nobody every enforces it. I've stayed all around the world, and they've always seen me walk in with bags of groceries and nobody has ever said jack shit.

In the words of Trent Reznor: "words are meant to be broken" - November 14th, 2005.

(If anyone needs context to the quote. It was during the spiral meet and greet show in Winnipeg. Sweeney told everyone "the rules" and one of them was only 1 piece of merch is allowed to be signed. Trent signed my friends copy of black sin, and therefore his ticket stub had the rest of the bands signatures but was missing his. So on his way back my friend waved him down and said "I know it's against the rules, but can I get this signed as well" and that's when Trent said rules were meant to be broken.)

ok so for the people who did VIP GA last time, I have logistical questions.

1) How do you think the timetable will work out, given the various tiers this year?

1.FanClub or Promoter VIP ticketholders
2.Joint VIP GA purchasers (Sold out)
3.GA Line Pass holders, Room & Ticket Package holders with a purple line pass
4.General Admission line

Booth staffed from: 5:00 PM
Doors open: 6:00 PM
Show time: 7:00 PM

Does this mean VIP GA'ers can get their tix and start waiting at 5p? After which, at 5:58 the Promoter VIP's go in, at 6 the VIP GA's go in, at 6:05 the GA Line Pass/etc group, then at 6:15 then rest of the GA line?

2) This brings up the logistical question of restrooms and getting rail. Do you folks who make it a priority to get the to the rail just go to the restroom at 4:58 and then pray? Sorry I'm new to this - I buy seated tix so I don't usually have these questions =X

And for the people who think getting the rail sounds like a huge pain in the ass, can you stroll in at 6-7pm, buy some merch and then get somewhere near the middle of the floor easily or will you be stuck at the very back?

You can stroll in last minute and still get up close. Last time I went to the joint for NIN in 2013, I strolled in while the opening band was ending their set and still managed to get on the main floor, maybe 15 rows back from the stage. I wasn't dead centre or anything, was a tad off to the right side of the stage. But it was still a decent viewing spot.

I'm almost thinking rail isn't worth it anymore considering how many opening bands there are. The last few NIN shows I did rail, there was only 1 opening band, this one has 2, that I don't really want to stand there and be stuck 4-5 hours at a rail for.

VIP GA picks up their tickets and then forms a new line right in front of the doors until 6:00. But I think your timeline is roughly correct.

If things are the same as they were in June, where the VIP GA lines up during the day is right across from restrooms. And even when the second line is formed after we get tickets, we are still near them, so you have a chance to use the bathroom before going into the venue. But after that, yes. You just wait and hope. Haha. I typically stop drinking anything early in the afternoon. :)

People wait in line all day. If you stroll in at 6 - 7 AND wait in the line to buy merch... you're probably gonna be towards the back. But it is a pretty small venue, so that might be okay with some folks.

Oh!! Fuuuck... I forgot about those. Urgh... My package said it excluded resort fees that would be nightly fees applied upon check-in. Dammit.... Just when I thought this trip was paid for, more money to go on the credit card! Yay... whoever said Vegas was a cheap travel destination was mistaken. Between the prices of drinks and the resort fees, not really worth it in the grand scheme of things.

Aww. If you gamble at all, make sure you use your player’ card and see what they can deduct or reimburse from your total at the end of your trip. I’m usually able to have resort fees waived at MGM properties. Haven’t tried it at HR yet.
