Regarding the sampler:

While they're mostly identical to their counterparts on the NullCo digital release, those 6 tracks on the sampler are a bit different. These are not huge differences, in fact they're very subtle, but it's still a bummer that we don't have them in lossless form. As with The Social Network sampler, all the tracks are crossfaded together, so each has been altered from the regular version.

For example, the first note of "Hidden in Snow" on the soundtrack has a tiny (almost inaudible) amount of "With the Flies" over it but the sampler has it unobscured. Also on the sampler, "People Lie All the Time" has a complete ending without "Pinned and Mounted" starting over the outro, and the sampler version of "Please Take Your Hand Away" has a couple more seconds of its intro audible without the end of "How Brittle the Bones" over top.

If we ever get multitrack files we could recreate these differences in lossless form.
