Xiu Xiu (and Jamie Stewart other stuff)

I open this thread to know if there is some Xiu Xiu fans around here.

I discovered the band 2-3 years ago with the song I Luv The Valley Oh !

In my opinion the Xiu Xiu's discography is amazing in term of variety of sounds and feelings you can find in every album.

Albums to introduce you with : Fabulous muscles / Dear God I Hate Myself / Xiu Xiu plays the music of Twin Peaks


I recently listen one of the pre-Xiu Xiu band build by Jamie Stewart, 'Ten in the swear jar' maybe easier to listen than some Xiu Xiu LP, can be a good start to discover this strange universe.

I first saw Xiu Xiu opening for Swans back in 2014. It was just Jamie doing a noise set and it was so fucking loud, one of the speakers started smoking and eventually blew out. It was awesome and I've been hooked ever since. I'm gonna try to hit the Chicago show in March.
