Thought this was a fun idea.
My top 5 songs:
1. Appearances
2. Complication With Optimistic Outcome
3. One Particular Moment
4. Eventually We Find Our Way
5. A Thousand Details
I absolutely adore Appearances. I think it's the best they've ever done, soundtrack-wise. I can listen to it on repeat for hours. I will never ever get tired of it.
Before Gone Girl came out, I had a similar relationship to Complication With Optimistc Outcome. It's kind of funny that the song isn't even in the film. It sounds incredibly sad and beautiful at the same time. I love the combination of the synths and the NIN-typical swarm guitar.
One Particular Moment just screams TRAR. It's really their signature sound. I love it.
Eventually We Find Our Way is my second favorite song from TSN. That guitar part starting at 2:36? Pure awesomeness.
Last but not least: A Thousand Details. I think that one speaks for itself.
(Honorable mention: Hand Covers Bruise, Technically, Missing)
So, what are your favorite TRAR songs? :)

I like way too many of their tracks, so I'll just break it down by album. (I'm leaving out solo Trent work like Quake, Lost Highway, and Tetsuo: The Bullet Man, plus the vocal tracks from Dragon Tattoo.)
The Social Network:
Hand Covers Bruise
3:14 Every Night
Eventually We Find Our Way
In The Hall Of The Mountain King
The Gentle Hum Of Anxiety
Soft Trees Break The Fall
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo:
What If We Could?
With The Flies
A Thousand Details
An Itch
Under The Midnight Sun
You're Here
Parallel Timeline With Alternate Outcome
We Could Wait Forever

The Heretics
Infiltrator

BRoswell Breaking everything down by album is exactly what I wanted to avoid! :) I think it would be interesting to see what your overall favorite songs are. Could you pin down five tracks if you had to choose?

As long as "8 Billion" closes out your mix, you have done things correctly.
